1. And all these kings and their land did Joshua take at one time, because the LORD God of Israel fought for Israel.
约书亚一时杀败了这些王，并夺了他们的地，因为耶和华以色列的神为以色列争战。

2. Shallum, Amariah, and Joseph.
沙龙，亚玛利雅，约瑟。

3. But Jesus called them to him, and saith unto them, Ye know that they which are accounted to rule over the Gentiles exercise lordship over them; and their great ones exercise authority upon them.
耶稣叫他们来，对他们说，你们知道，外邦人有尊为君王的，治理他们。有大臣操权管束他们。

4. And whosoever shall give to drink unto one of these little ones a cup of cold water only in the name of a disciple, verily I say unto you, he shall in no wise lose his reward.
无论何人，因为门徒的名，只把一杯凉水给这小子里的一个喝，我实在告诉你们，这人不能不得赏赐。

5. But one thing is needful: and Mary hath chosen that good part, which shall not be taken away from her.
但是不可少的只有一件。马利亚已经选择那上好的福分，是不能夺去的。

6. And many believed on him there.
在那里信耶稣的人就多了。

7. And he commanded us to preach unto the people, and to testify that it is he which was ordained of God to be the Judge of quick and dead.
他吩咐我们传道给众人，证明他是神所立定的，要作审判活人死人的主。
