1. By these were the isles of the Gentiles divided in their lands; every one after his tongue, after their families, in their nations.
这些人的后裔，将各国的地土，海岛，分开居住，各随各的方言，宗族立国。

2. Then arose Ezra, and made the chief priests, the Levites, and all Israel, to swear that they should do according to this word. And they sware.
以斯拉便起来，使祭司长和利未人，并以色列众人起誓说，必照这话去行。他们就起了誓。

3. And they shall cover the face of the earth, that one cannot be able to see the earth: and they shall eat the residue of that which is escaped, which remaineth unto you from the hail, and shall eat every tree which groweth for you out of the field:
遮满地面，甚至看不见地，并且吃那冰雹所剩的和田间所长的一切树木。

4. So they went near, and carried them in their coats out of the camp; as Moses had said.
于是二人上前来，把他们穿着袍子抬到营外，是照摩西所吩咐的。

5. When ye blow an alarm, then the camps that lie on the east parts shall go forward.
吹出大声的时候，东边安的营都要起行。

6. And I turned myself and came down from the mount, and put the tables in the ark which I had made; and there they be, as the LORD commanded me.
我转身下山，将这版放在我所作的柜中，现今还在那里，正如耶和华所吩咐我的。

7. Therefore the five kings of the Amorites, the king of Jerusalem, the king of Hebron, the king of Jarmuth, the king of Lachish, the king of Eglon, gathered themselves together, and went up, they and all their hosts, and encamped before Gibeon, and made war against it.
于是五个亚摩利王，就是耶路撒冷王，希伯仑王，耶末王，拉吉王，伊矶伦王，大家聚集，率领他们的众军上去，对着基遍安营，攻打基遍。

8. And Jair died, and was buried in Camon.
睚珥死了，就葬在加们。

9. After that thou shalt come to the hill of God, where is the garrison of the Philistines: and it shall come to pass, when thou art come thither to the city, that thou shalt meet a company of prophets coming down from the high place with a psaltery, and a tabret, and a pipe, and a harp, before them; and they shall prophesy:
此后你到神的山，在那里有非利士人的防兵。你到了城的时候，必遇见一班先知从邱坛下来，前面有鼓瑟的，击鼓的，吹笛的，弹琴的，他们都受感说话。

10. When they told it unto David, he sent to meet them, because the men were greatly ashamed: and the king said, Tarry at Jericho until your beards be grown, and then return.
有人告诉大卫，他就差人去迎接他们，因为他们甚觉羞耻，告诉他们说，可以住在耶利哥，等到胡须长起再回来。

11. And the meat of his table, and the sitting of his servants, and the attendance of his ministers, and their apparel, and his cupbearers, and his ascent by which he went up unto the house of the LORD; there was no more spirit in her.
席上的珍馐美味，群臣分列而坐，仆人两旁侍立，以及他们的衣服装饰和酒政的衣服装饰，又见他上耶和华殿的台阶（或作他在耶和华殿里所献的燔祭），就诧异得神不守舍。

12. And he that was over the house, and he that was over the city, the elders also, and the bringers up of the children, sent to Jehu, saying, We are thy servants, and will do all that thou shalt bid us; we will not make any king: do thou that which is good in thine eyes.
家宰，邑宰，和长老，并教养众子的人，打发人去见耶户，说，我们是你的仆人，凡你所吩咐我们的都必遵行，我们不立谁作王，你看怎样好就怎样行。

13. And when his armourbearer saw that Saul was dead, he fell likewise on the sword, and died.
扫罗就自己伏在刀上死了。拿兵器的人见扫罗已死，也伏在刀上死了。

14. And he said unto them, Come again unto me after three days. And the people departed.
罗波安对他们说，第三日再来见我吧。民就去了。

15. Harim, Meremoth, Obadiah,
哈琳，米利末，俄巴底亚，

16. Are thy days as the days of man? are thy years as man's days,
你的日子岂像人的日子，你的年岁岂像人的年岁。

17. His ways are always grievous; thy judgments are far above out of his sight: as for all his enemies, he puffeth at them.
凡他所作的，时常稳固。你的审判超过他的眼界。至于他一切的敌人，他都向他们喷气。

18. He that gathereth in summer is a wise son: but he that sleepeth in harvest is a son that causeth shame.
夏天聚敛的，是智慧之子。收割时沉睡的，是贻羞之子。

19. There is an evil which I have seen under the sun, as an error which proceedeth from the ruler:
我见日光之下，有一件祸患，似乎出于掌权的错误，

20. O Assyrian, the rod of mine anger, and the staff in their hand is mine indignation.
亚述是我怒气的棍，手中拿我恼恨的仗。

21. They are upright as the palm tree, but speak not: they must needs be borne, because they cannot go. Be not afraid of them; for they cannot do evil, neither also is it in them to do good.
它好像棕树，是镟成的，不能说话，不能行走，必须有人抬着。你们不要怕它。它不能降祸，也无力降福。

22. And the sound of the cherubims' wings was heard even to the outer court, as the voice of the Almighty God when he speaketh.
基路伯翅膀的响声听到外院，好像全能神说话的声音。

23. Then I lifted up mine eyes, and looked, and behold a certain man clothed in linen, whose loins were girded with fine gold of Uphaz:
举目观看，见有一人身穿细麻衣，腰束乌法精金带。

24. The inhabitants of Samaria shall fear because of the calves of Bethaven: for the people thereof shall mourn over it, and the priests thereof that rejoiced on it, for the glory thereof, because it is departed from it.
撒玛利亚的居民，因伯亚文的牛犊惊恐，崇拜牛犊的民，和喜爱牛犊的祭司，都必因荣耀离开他，为他悲哀。

25. And they shall be as mighty men, which tread down their enemies in the mire of the streets in the battle: and they shall fight, because the LORD is with them, and the riders on horses shall be confounded.
他们必如勇士，在阵上将仇敌践踏在街上的泥土中。他们必争战，因为耶和华与他们同在。骑马的也必羞愧。

26. These twelve Jesus sent forth, and commanded them, saying, Go not into the way of the Gentiles, and into any city of the Samaritans enter ye not:
耶稣差这十二个人去，吩咐他们说，外邦人的路，你们不要走。撒玛利亚人的城，你们不要进。

27. And Jesus answered and said unto them, For the hardness of your heart he wrote you this precept.
耶稣说，摩西因为你们的心硬，所以写这条例给你们。

28. And into whatsoever house ye enter, first say, Peace be to this house.
无论进那一家，先要说，愿这一家平安。

29. And a stranger will they not follow, but will flee from him: for they know not the voice of strangers.
羊不跟着生人，因为不认得他的声音。必要逃跑。

30. And now send men to Joppa, and call for one Simon, whose surname is Peter:
现在你打发人往约帕去，请那称呼彼得的西门来。

31. For Moses describeth the righteousness which is of the law, That the man which doeth those things shall live by them.
摩西写着说，人若行那出于律法的义，就必因此活着。

32. But with many of them God was not well pleased: for they were overthrown in the wilderness.
但他们中间，多半是神不喜欢的人。所以在旷野倒毙。

33. Casting down imaginations, and every high thing that exalteth itself against the knowledge of God, and bringing into captivity every thought to the obedience of Christ;
将各样的计谋，各样拦阻人认识神的那些自高之事，一概攻破了，又将人所有的心意夺回，使他都顺服基督。

34. Wherefore when he cometh into the world, he saith, Sacrifice and offering thou wouldest not, but a body hast thou prepared me:
所以基督到世上来的时候，就说，神阿祭物和礼物是你不愿意的，你曾给我豫备了身体。

35. And the angel which I saw stand upon the sea and upon the earth lifted up his hand to heaven,
我所看见的那踏海踏地的天使，向天举起右手来，
