1. And he entreated Abram well for her sake: and he had sheep, and oxen, and he asses, and menservants, and maidservants, and she asses, and camels.
法老因这妇人就厚待亚伯兰，亚伯兰得了许多牛，羊，骆驼，公驴，母驴，仆婢。

2. And in the first day there shall be an holy convocation, and in the seventh day there shall be an holy convocation to you; no manner of work shall be done in them, save that which every man must eat, that only may be done of you.
头一日你们当有圣会，第七日也当有圣会。这两日之内，除了预备各人所要吃的以外，无论何工都不可作。

3. And afterward the people removed from Hazeroth, and pitched in the wilderness of Paran.
以后百姓从哈洗录起行，在巴兰的旷野安营。

4. Only ye shall not eat the blood; ye shall pour it upon the earth as water.
只是不可吃血，要倒在地上，如同倒水一样。

5. The king of Makkedah, one; the king of Bethel, one;
一个是玛基大王，一个是伯特利王，

6. Now therefore stand and see this great thing, which the LORD will do before your eyes.
现在你们要站住，看耶和华在你们眼前要行一件大事。

7. David therefore besought God for the child; and David fasted, and went in, and lay all night upon the earth.
所以大卫为这孩子恳求神，而且禁食，进入内室，终夜躺在地上。

8. So when all Israel saw that the king hearkened not unto them, the people answered the king, saying, What portion have we in David? neither have we inheritance in the son of Jesse: to your tents, O Israel: now see to thine own house, David. So Israel departed unto their tents.
以色列众民见王不依从他们，就对王说，我们与大卫有什么分儿呢。与耶西的儿子并没有关涉。以色列人哪，各回各家去吧。大卫家阿，自己顾自己吧。于是，以色列人都回自己家里去了，

9. The trespass money and sin money was not brought into the house of the LORD: it was the priests'.
惟有赎愆祭，赎罪祭的银子没有奉到耶和华的殿，都归祭司。

10. And there came of the children of Benjamin and Judah to the hold unto David.
又有便雅悯和犹大人到山寨大卫那里。

11. And Rehoboam slept with his fathers, and was buried in the city of David: and Abijah his son reigned in his stead.
罗波安与他列祖同睡，葬在大卫城里。他儿子亚比雅接续他作王。

12. Of Iddo, Zechariah; of Ginnethon, Meshullam;
易多族有撒迦利亚。近顿族有米书兰。

13. With him is strength and wisdom: the deceived and the deceiver are his.
在他有能力和智慧。被诱惑的，与诱惑人的，都是属他。

14. A fool's wrath is presently known: but a prudent man covereth shame.
愚妄人的恼怒，立时显露。通达人能忍辱藏羞。

15. And it shall come to pass, if they will diligently learn the ways of my people, to swear by my name, The LORD liveth; as they taught my people to swear by Baal; then shall they be built in the midst of my people.
他们若殷勤学习我百姓的道，指着我的名起誓，说，我指着永生的耶和华起誓，正如他们从前教我百姓指着巴力起誓，他们就必建立在我百姓中间。

16. But I will leave a few men of them from the sword, from the famine, and from the pestilence; that they may declare all their abominations among the heathen whither they come; and they shall know that I am the LORD.
我却要留下他们几个人得免刀剑，饥荒，瘟疫，使他们在所到的各国中述说他们一切可憎的事，人就知道我是耶和华。

17. And charged them that they should not make him known:
又嘱咐他们，不要给他传名。

18. And they brought it. And he saith unto them, Whose is this image and superscription? And they said unto him, Caesar's.
他们就拿了来。耶稣说，这像和这号是谁的。他们说，是凯撒的。

19. And he spake a parable unto them, saying, The ground of a certain rich man brought forth plentifully:
就用比喻对他们说，有一个财主，田产丰盛。

20. These things understood not his disciples at the first: but when Jesus was glorified, then remembered they that these things were written of him, and that they had done these things unto him.
这些事门徒起先不明白。等到耶稣得了荣耀以后，才想起这话是指着他写的，并且众人果然向他这样行了。

21. But Peter continued knocking: and when they had opened the door, and saw him, they were astonished.
彼得不住的敲门。他们开了门，看见他，就甚惊奇。

22. Be of the same mind one toward another. Mind not high things, but condescend to men of low estate. Be not wise in your own conceits.
要彼此同心。不要志气高大，倒要俯就卑微的人。（人或作事）不要自以为聪明。

23. And if the ear shall say, Because I am not the eye, I am not of the body; is it therefore not of the body?
设若耳说，我不是眼，所以不属乎身子。他也不能因此就不属乎身子。

24. But be it so, I did not burden you: nevertheless, being crafty, I caught you with guile.
吧了，我自己并没有累着你们，你们却有人说，我是诡诈，用心计牢笼你们。

25. Lest there be any fornicator, or profane person, as Esau, who for one morsel of meat sold his birthright.
恐怕有淫乱的，有贪恋世俗如以扫的。他因一点食物把自己长子的名分卖了。

26. And the earth helped the woman, and the earth opened her mouth, and swallowed up the flood which the dragon cast out of his mouth.
地却帮助妇人，开口吞了从龙口吐出来的水。（原文作河）
