1. And the LORD plagued Pharaoh and his house with great plagues because of Sarai Abram's wife.
耶和华因亚伯兰妻子撒莱的缘故，降大灾与法老和他的全家。

2. And ye shall observe the feast of unleavened bread; for in this selfsame day have I brought your armies out of the land of Egypt: therefore shall ye observe this day in your generations by an ordinance for ever.
你们要守无酵节，因为我正当这日把你们的军队从埃及地领出来。所以，你们要守这日，作为世世代代永远的定例。

3. Thou mayest not eat within thy gates the tithe of thy corn, or of thy wine, or of thy oil, or the firstlings of thy herds or of thy flock, nor any of thy vows which thou vowest, nor thy freewill offerings, or heave offering of thine hand:
你的五谷，新酒，和油的十分之一，或是牛群羊群中头生的，或是你许愿献的，甘心献的，或是手中的举祭，都不可在你城里吃。

4. The king of Tappuah, one; the king of Hepher, one;
一个是他普亚王，一个是希弗王，

5. Is it not wheat harvest to day? I will call unto the LORD, and he shall send thunder and rain; that ye may perceive and see that your wickedness is great, which ye have done in the sight of the LORD, in asking you a king.
这不是割麦子的时候吗。我求告耶和华，他必打雷降雨，使你们又知道又看出，你们求立王的事是在耶和华面前犯大罪了。

6. And the elders of his house arose, and went to him, to raise him up from the earth: but he would not, neither did he eat bread with them.
他家中的老臣来到他旁边，要把他从地上扶起来，他却不肯起来，也不同他们吃饭。

7. But as for the children of Israel which dwelt in the cities of Judah, Rehoboam reigned over them.
惟独住犹大城邑的以色列人，罗波安仍作他们的王。

8. Then Hazael king of Syria went up, and fought against Gath, and took it: and Hazael set his face to go up to Jerusalem.
那时，亚兰王哈薛上来攻打迦特，攻取了，就定意上来攻打耶路撒冷。

9. And David went out to meet them, and answered and said unto them, If ye be come peaceably unto me to help me, mine heart shall be knit unto you: but if ye be come to betray me to mine enemies, seeing there is no wrong in mine hands, the God of our fathers look thereon, and rebuke it.
大卫出去迎接他们，对他们说，你们若是和和平平地来帮助我，我心就与你们相契。你们若是将我这无罪的人卖在敌人手里，愿我们列祖的神察看责罚。

10. Of Abijah, Zichri; of Miniamin, of Moadiah, Piltai;
亚比雅族有细基利。米拿民族某。摩亚底族有毗勒太。

11. He leadeth counsellors away spoiled, and maketh the judges fools.
他把谋士剥衣掳去，又使审判官变成愚人。

12. He that speaketh truth sheweth forth righteousness: but a false witness deceit.
说出真话的，显明公义。作假见证的，显出诡诈。

13. But if they will not obey, I will utterly pluck up and destroy that nation, saith the LORD.
他们若是不听，我必拔出那国，拔出而且毁灭。这是耶和华说的。

14. Moreover the word of the LORD came to me, saying,
耶和华的话又临到我说，

15. That it might be fulfilled which was spoken by Esaias the prophet, saying,
这是要应验先知以赛亚的话，说，

16. And Jesus answering said unto them, Render to Caesar the things that are Caesar's, and to God the things that are God's. And they marvelled at him.
耶稣说，凯撒的物当归给凯撒，神的物当归给神。他们就很希奇他。

17. And he thought within himself, saying, What shall I do, because I have no room where to bestow my fruits?
自己心里思想说，我的出产没有地方收藏，怎吗办呢。

18. The people therefore that was with him when he called Lazarus out of his grave, and raised him from the dead, bare record.
当耶稣呼唤拉撒路叫他从死复活出坟墓的时候，同耶稣在那里的众人，就作见证。

19. But he, beckoning unto them with the hand to hold their peace, declared unto them how the Lord had brought him out of the prison. And he said, Go shew these things unto James, and to the brethren. And he departed, and went into another place.
彼得摆手，不要他们作声，就告诉他们主怎样领他出监。又说，你们把这事告诉雅各，和众弟兄。于是出去往别处去了。

20. Recompense to no man evil for evil. Provide things honest in the sight of all men.
不要以恶报恶，众人以为美的事，要留心去作。

21. If the whole body were an eye, where were the hearing? If the whole were hearing, where were the smelling?
若全身是眼，从那里听声呢。若全身是耳，从那里闻味呢。

22. Did I make a gain of you by any of them whom I sent unto you?
我所差到你们那里去的人，我藉着他们一个人占过你们的便宜吗。

23. For ye know how that afterward, when he would have inherited the blessing, he was rejected: for he found no place of repentance, though he sought it carefully with tears.
后来想要承受父所祝的福，竟被弃绝，虽然号哭切求，却得不着门路，使他父亲的心意回转，这是你们知道的。

24. And the dragon was wroth with the woman, and went to make war with the remnant of her seed, which keep the commandments of God, and have the testimony of Jesus Christ.
龙向妇人发怒，去与他其馀的儿女争战，这儿女就是那守神诫命，为耶稣作见证的。那时龙就站在海边的沙上。
