1. And it came to pass, that at midnight the LORD smote all the firstborn in the land of Egypt, from the firstborn of Pharaoh that sat on his throne unto the firstborn of the captive that was in the dungeon; and all the firstborn of cattle.
到了半夜，耶和华把埃及地所有的长子，就是从坐宝座的法老，直到被掳囚在监里之人的长子，以及一切头生的牲畜，尽都杀了。

2. When the LORD thy God shall cut off the nations from before thee, whither thou goest to possess them, and thou succeedest them, and dwellest in their land;
耶和华你神将你要去赶出的国民从你面前剪除，你得了他们的地居住，

3. And David gathered all the people together, and went to Rabbah, and fought against it, and took it.
于是大卫聚集众军，往拉巴去攻城，就取了这城，

4. And he set the one in Bethel, and the other put he in Dan.
他就把牛犊一只安在伯特利，一只安在但。

5. And of the children of Benjamin, the kindred of Saul, three thousand: for hitherto the greatest part of them had kept the ward of the house of Saul.
便雅悯支派，扫罗的族弟兄也有三千人，他们向来大半归顺扫罗家。

6. Also from the house of Gilgal, and out of the fields of Geba and Azmaveth: for the singers had builded them villages round about Jerusalem.
又从迦巴和押玛弗的田地聚集，因为歌唱的人在耶路撒冷四围为自己立了村庄。

7. Or else how can one enter into a strong man's house, and spoil his goods, except he first bind the strong man? and then he will spoil his house.
人怎能进壮士家里，抢夺他的家具呢，除非先捆住那壮士，才可以抢夺他的家财。

8. And Jesus answered him, The first of all the commandments is, Hear, O Israel; The Lord our God is one Lord:
耶稣回答说，第一要紧的，就是说，以色列阿，你要听。主我们神，是独一的主。

9. And seek not ye what ye shall eat, or what ye shall drink, neither be ye of doubtful mind.
你们不要求吃什么，喝什么，也不要挂心。

10. The people therefore, that stood by, and heard it, said that it thundered: others said, An angel spake to him.
站在旁边的众人听见，就说，打雷了。还有人说，有天使对他说话。

11. Are all apostles? are all prophets? are all teachers? are all workers of miracles?
岂都是使徒吗。岂都是先知吗。岂都是教师吗。岂都是行异能的吗。

12. For our God is a consuming fire.
因为我们的神乃是烈火。
