1. And the children of Israel did according to the word of Moses; and they borrowed of the Egyptians jewels of silver, and jewels of gold, and raiment:
以色列人照着摩西的话行，向埃及人要金器，银器，和衣裳。

2. And of the Danites expert in war twenty and eight thousand and six hundred.
但支派，能摆阵的有二万八千六百人。

3. And certain of the priests' sons with trumpets; namely, Zechariah the son of Jonathan, the son of Shemaiah, the son of Mattaniah, the son of Michaiah, the son of Zaccur, the son of Asaph:
还有些吹号之祭司的子孙，约拿单的儿子撒迦利亚。约拿单是示玛雅的儿子。示玛雅是玛他尼的儿子。玛他尼是米该亚的儿子。米该亚是撒刻的儿子。撒刻是亚萨的儿子。

4. A good man out of the good treasure of the heart bringeth forth good things: and an evil man out of the evil treasure bringeth forth evil things.
善人从他心里所存的善，就发出善来。恶人从他心里所存的恶，就发出恶来。

5. And Jesus answered and said, while he taught in the temple, How say the scribes that Christ is the son of David?
耶稣在殿里教训人，就问他们说，文士怎样说，基督是大卫的子孙呢。

6. Let your loins be girded about, and your lights burning;
你们腰里要束上带，灯也要点着。

7. Then Jesus said unto them, Yet a little while is the light with you. Walk while ye have the light, lest darkness come upon you: for he that walketh in darkness knoweth not whither he goeth.
耶稣对他们说，光在你们中间，还有不多的时候，应当趁着有光行走，免得黑暗临到你们。那在黑暗里行走的，不知道往何处去。
