1. It is a night to be much observed unto the LORD for bringing them out from the land of Egypt: this is that night of the LORD to be observed of all the children of Israel in their generations.
这夜是耶和华的夜，因耶和华领他们出了埃及地，所以当向耶和华谨守，是以色列众人世世代代该谨守的。

2. And Maaseiah, and Shemaiah, and Eleazar, and Uzzi, and Jehohanan, and Malchijah, and Elam, and Ezer. And the singers sang loud, with Jezrahiah their overseer.
又有玛西雅，示玛雅，以利亚撒，乌西，约哈难，玛基雅，以拦，和以谢奏乐。歌唱的就大声歌唱，伊斯拉希雅管理他们。

3. The queen of the south shall rise up in the judgment with this generation, and shall condemn it: for she came from the uttermost parts of the earth to hear the wisdom of Solomon; and, behold, a greater than Solomon is here.
当审判的时候，南方的女王，要起来定这世代的罪，因为他从地极而来，要听所罗门的智慧话。看哪，在这里有一人比所罗门更大。

4. And there came a certain poor widow, and she threw in two mites, which make a farthing.
有一个穷寡妇来，往里投了两个小钱，就是一个大钱。

5. And the Lord said, Who then is that faithful and wise steward, whom his lord shall make ruler over his household, to give them their portion of meat in due season?
主说，谁是那忠心有见识的管家，主人派他管理家里的人，按时分粮给他们呢。

6. Nevertheless among the chief rulers also many believed on him; but because of the Pharisees they did not confess him, lest they should be put out of the synagogue:
虽然如此，官长中却有好些信他的。只因法利赛人的缘故，就不承认，恐怕被赶出会堂。
