1. Then the priest shall see the plague: and, behold, if it be in sight deeper than the skin; and there be in it a yellow thin hair; then the priest shall pronounce him unclean: it is a dry scall, even a leprosy upon the head or beard.

2. And Caleb stilled the people before Moses, and said, Let us go up at once, and possess it; for we are well able to overcome it.

3. And their coast was from Mahanaim, all Bashan, all the kingdom of Og king of Bashan, and all the towns of Jair, which are in Bashan, threescore cities:

4. And it came to pass, while they were in the way, that tidings came to David, saying, Absalom hath slain all the king's sons, and there is not one of them left.

5. And he laid his carcase in his own grave; and they mourned over him, saying, Alas, my brother!

6. Thus cleansed I them from all strangers, and appointed the wards of the priests and the Levites, every one in his business;

7. Let both grow together until the harvest: and in the time of harvest I will say to the reapers, Gather ye together first the tares, and bind them in bundles to burn them: but gather the wheat into my barn.

8. Verily I say unto you, that this generation shall not pass, till all these things be done.

9. And, behold, there are last which shall be first, and there are first which shall be last.

10. He then having received the sop went immediately out: and it was night.

11. But God raised him from the dead:
