1. And they took all the goods of Sodom and Gomorrah, and all their victuals, and went their way.
四王就把所多玛和蛾摩拉所有的财物,并一切的粮食都掳掠去了。

2. And they said unto Moses, Because there were no graves in Egypt, hast thou taken us away to die in the wilderness? wherefore hast thou dealt thus with us, to carry us forth out of Egypt?
他们对摩西说,难道在埃及没有坟地,你把我们带来死在旷野吗。你为什么这样待我们,将我们从埃及领出来呢。

3. And the priest that maketh him clean shall present the man that is to be made clean, and those things, before the LORD, at the door of the tabernacle of the congregation:
行洁净之礼的祭司要将那求洁净的人和这些东西安置在会幕门口,耶和华面前。

4. And the LORD said unto Moses, How long will this people provoke me? and how long will it be ere they believe me, for all the signs which I have shewed among them?
耶和华对摩西说,这百姓藐视我要到几时呢,我在他们中间行了这一切神迹,他们还不信我要到几时呢,

5. Of all clean birds ye shall eat.
凡洁净的鸟,你们都可以吃。

6. As yet I am as strong this day as I was in the day that Moses sent me: as my strength was then, even so is my strength now, for war, both to go out, and to come in.
我还是强壮,像摩西打发我去的那天一样。无论是争战,是出入,我的力量那时如何,现在还是如何。

7. And it came to pass, when they saw him, that they brought thirty companions to be with him.
众人看见参孙,就请了三十个人陪伴他。

8. And both of them discovered themselves unto the garrison of the Philistines: and the Philistines said, Behold, the Hebrews come forth out of the holes where they had hid themselves.
二人就使非利士的防兵看见。非利士人说,希伯来人从所藏的洞穴里出来了。

9. Then said she, I pray thee, let the king remember the LORD thy God, that thou wouldest not suffer the revengers of blood to destroy any more, lest they destroy my son. And he said, As the LORD liveth, there shall not one hair of thy son fall to the earth.
妇人说,愿王记念耶和华你的神,不许报血仇的人施行灭绝,恐怕他们灭绝我的儿子。王说,我指着永生的耶和华起誓,你的儿子连一根头发也不致落在地上。

10. Him that dieth of Jeroboam in the city shall the dogs eat; and him that dieth in the field shall the fowls of the air eat: for the LORD hath spoken it.
凡属耶罗波安的人,死在城中的必被狗吃,死在田野的必被空中的鸟吃。这是耶和华说的。

11. But Amaziah would not hear. Therefore Jehoash king of Israel went up; and he and Amaziah king of Judah looked one another in the face at Bethshemesh, which belongeth to Judah.
亚玛谢却不肯听这话。于是以色列王约阿施上来,在犹大的伯示麦与犹大王亚玛谢相见于战场。

12. So they came up to Baalperazim; and David smote them there. Then David said, God hath broken in upon mine enemies by mine hand like the breaking forth of waters: therefore they called the name of that place Baalperazim.
非利士人来到巴力毗拉心,大卫在那里杀败他们。大卫说,神藉我的手冲破敌人,如同水冲去一般。因此称那地方为巴力毗拉心。

13. And Asa cried unto the LORD his God, and said, LORD, it is nothing with thee to help, whether with many, or with them that have no power: help us, O LORD our God; for we rest on thee, and in thy name we go against this multitude. O LORD, thou art our God; let not man prevail against thee.
亚撒呼求耶和华他的神说,耶和华阿,惟有你能帮助软弱的,胜过强盛的。耶和华我们的神阿,求你帮助我们。因为我们仰赖你,奉你的名来攻击这大军。耶和华阿,你是我们的神,不要容人胜过你。

14. As the waters fail from the sea, and the flood decayeth and drieth up:
海中的水绝尽,江河消散乾涸。

15. The house of the wicked shall be overthrown: but the tabernacle of the upright shall flourish.
奸恶人的房屋必倾倒。正直人的帐棚必兴盛。

16. Thy pomp is brought down to the grave, and the noise of thy viols: the worm is spread under thee, and the worms cover thee.
你的威势,和你琴瑟的声音,都下到阴间。你下铺的是虫,上盖的是蛆。

17. Then said the LORD unto me, Pray not for this people for their good.
耶和华又对我说,不要为这百姓祈祷求好处。

18. That the house of Israel may go no more astray from me, neither be polluted any more with all their transgressions; but that they may be my people, and I may be their God, saith the Lord GOD.
好使以色列家不再走迷离开我,不再因各样的罪过玷污自己,只要作我的子民,我作他们的神。这是主耶和华说的。

19. And men shall dwell in it, and there shall be no more utter destruction; but Jerusalem shall be safely inhabited.
人必住在其中,不再有咒诅。耶路撒冷人必安然居住。

20. And his head was brought in a charger, and given to the damsel: and she brought it to her mother.
把头放在盘子里,拿来给了女子。女子拿去给他母亲。

21. And when they heard it, they were glad, and promised to give him money. And he sought how he might conveniently betray him.
他们听见就欢喜,又应许给他银子。他就寻思如何得便,把耶稣交给他们。

22. For whosoever exalteth himself shall be abased; and he that humbleth himself shall be exalted.
因为凡自高的必降为卑。自卑的必升为高。

23. Believe me that I am in the Father, and the Father in me: or else believe me for the very works' sake.
你们当信我,我在父里面,父在我里面。既或不信,也当因我所作的事信我。

24. And when the people saw what Paul had done, they lifted up their voices, saying in the speech of Lycaonia, The gods are come down to us in the likeness of men.
众人看见保罗所作的事,就用吕高尼的话,大声说,有神藉着人形,降临在我们中间了。

25. For it is written, As I live, saith the Lord, every knee shall bow to me, and every tongue shall confess to God.
经上写着,主说,我凭着我的永生起誓,万膝必向我跪拜,万口必向我承认。

26. Therefore if I know not the meaning of the voice, I shall be unto him that speaketh a barbarian, and he that speaketh shall be a barbarian unto me.
我若不明白那声音的意思,这说话的人必以我为化外之人,我也以他为化外之人。

27. And the smoke of their torment ascendeth up for ever and ever: and they have no rest day nor night, who worship the beast and his image, and whosoever receiveth the mark of his name.
他受痛苦的烟往上冒,直到永永远远。那些拜兽和兽像受他名之印记的,昼夜不得安宁。
