1. And there came one that had escaped, and told Abram the Hebrew; for he dwelt in the plain of Mamre the Amorite, brother of Eshcol, and brother of Aner: and these were confederate with Abram.
有一个逃出来的人告诉希伯来人亚伯兰。亚伯兰正住在亚摩利人幔利的橡树那里。幔利和以实各并亚乃都是弟兄,曾与亚伯兰联盟。

2. And Moses said unto the people, Fear ye not, stand still, and see the salvation of the LORD, which he will shew to you to day: for the Egyptians whom ye have seen to day, ye shall see them again no more for ever.
摩西对百姓说,不要惧怕,只管站住,看耶和华今天向你们所要施行的救恩。因为,你们今天所看见的埃及人必永远不再看见了。

3. And he shall slay the lamb in the place where he shall kill the sin offering and the burnt offering, in the holy place: for as the sin offering is the priest's, so is the trespass offering: it is most holy:
把公羊羔宰于圣地,就是宰赎罪祭牲和燔祭牲之地。赎愆祭要归祭司,与赎罪祭一样,是至圣的。

4. And Moses said unto the LORD, Then the Egyptians shall hear it, (for thou broughtest up this people in thy might from among them;)
摩西对耶和华说,埃及人必听见这事。因为你曾施展大能,将这百姓从他们中间领上来。

5. And the glede, and the kite, and the vulture after his kind,

6. And Joshua blessed him, and gave unto Caleb the son of Jephunneh Hebron for an inheritance.
于是约书亚为耶孚尼的儿子迦勒祝福,将希伯仑给他为业。

7. But if ye cannot declare it me, then shall ye give me thirty sheets and thirty change of garments. And they said unto him, Put forth thy riddle, that we may hear it.
你们若不能猜出意思告诉我,你们就给我三十件里衣,三十套衣裳。他们说,请将谜语说给我们听。

8. And Jonathan climbed up upon his hands and upon his feet, and his armourbearer after him: and they fell before Jonathan; and his armourbearer slew after him.
约拿单就爬上去,拿兵器的人跟随他。约拿单杀倒非利士人,拿兵器的人也随着杀他们。

9. And the woman said, Wherefore then hast thou thought such a thing against the people of God? for the king doth speak this thing as one which is faulty, in that the king doth not fetch home again his banished.
妇人说,王为何也起意要害神的民呢。王不使那逃亡的人回来,王的这话就是自证己错了。

10. And all Israel shall mourn for him, and bury him: for he only of Jeroboam shall come to the grave, because in him there is found some good thing toward the LORD God of Israel in the house of Jeroboam.
以色列众人必为他哀哭,将他葬埋。凡属耶罗波安的人,惟有他得入坟墓。因为在耶罗波安的家中,只有他向耶和华以色列的神显出善行。

11. And Jehoash king of Israel took Amaziah king of Judah, the son of Jehoash the son of Ahaziah, at Bethshemesh, and came to Jerusalem, and brake down the wall of Jerusalem from the gate of Ephraim unto the corner gate, four hundred cubits.
以色列王约阿施在伯示麦擒住亚哈谢的孙子,约阿施的儿子犹大王亚玛谢,就来到耶路撒冷,拆毁耶路撒冷的城墙,从以法莲门直到角门共四百肘,

12. And the Philistines yet again spread themselves abroad in the valley.
非利士人又布散在利乏音谷。

13. And Asa and the people that were with him pursued them unto Gerar: and the Ethiopians were overthrown, that they could not recover themselves; for they were destroyed before the LORD, and before his host; and they carried away very much spoil.
亚撒和跟随他的军兵追赶他们,直到基拉耳。古实人被杀的甚多,不能再强盛,因为败在耶和华与他军兵面前。犹大人就夺了许多财物,

14. O that thou wouldest hide me in the grave, that thou wouldest keep me secret, until thy wrath be past, that thou wouldest appoint me a set time, and remember me!
惟愿你把我藏在阴间,存于隐密处,等你的忿怒过去。愿你为我定了日期,记念我。

15. Even in laughter the heart is sorrowful; and the end of that mirth is heaviness.
人在喜笑中,心也忧愁。快乐至极,就生愁苦。

16. For thou hast said in thine heart, I will ascend into heaven, I will exalt my throne above the stars of God: I will sit also upon the mount of the congregation, in the sides of the north:
你心里曾说,我要升到天上。我要高举我的宝座在神众星以上。我要坐在聚会的山上,在北方的极处,

17. Then said I, Ah, Lord GOD! behold, the prophets say unto them, Ye shall not see the sword, neither shall ye have famine; but I will give you assured peace in this place.
我就说,唉。主耶和华阿,那些先知常对他们说,你们必不看见刀剑,也不遭遇饥荒。耶和华要在这地方赐你们长久的平安。

18. Son of man, when the land sinneth against me by trespassing grievously, then will I stretch out mine hand upon it, and will break the staff of the bread thereof, and will send famine upon it, and will cut off man and beast from it:
人子阿,若有一国犯罪干犯我,我也向他伸手折断他们的杖,就是断绝他们的粮,使饥荒临到那地,将人与牲畜从其中剪除。

19. And it shall come to pass in that day, that a great tumult from the LORD shall be among them; and they shall lay hold every one on the hand of his neighbour, and his hand shall rise up against the hand of his neighbour.
那日,耶和华必使他们大大扰乱。他们各人彼此揪住,举手攻击。

20. When Jesus heard of it, he departed thence by ship into a desert place apart: and when the people had heard thereof, they followed him on foot out of the cities.
耶稣听见了,就上船从那里独自退到野地里去。众人听见,就从各城里步行跟随他。

21. And he sendeth forth two of his disciples, and saith unto them, Go ye into the city, and there shall meet you a man bearing a pitcher of water: follow him.
耶稣就打发两个门徒,对他们说,你们进城去,必有人拿着一瓶水,迎面而来。你们就跟着他。

22. But when thou makest a feast, call the poor, the maimed, the lame, the blind:
你摆设筵席,倒要请那贫穷的,残废的,瘸腿的,瞎眼的,你就有福了。

23. And whatsoever ye shall ask in my name, that will I do, that the Father may be glorified in the Son.
你们奉我的名,无论求什么,我必成就,叫父因子得荣耀。

24. Then the priest of Jupiter, which was before their city, brought oxen and garlands unto the gates, and would have done sacrifice with the people.
有城外宙斯庙的祭司,牵着牛,拿着花圈,来到门前,要同众人(向使徒献祭。

25. Let us not therefore judge one another any more: but judge this rather, that no man put a stumblingblock or an occasion to fall in his brother's way.
所以我们不可再彼此论断。宁可定意谁也不给弟兄放下绊脚人之物。

26. Wherefore let him that speaketh in an unknown tongue pray that he may interpret.
所以那说方言的,就当求着能翻出来。

27. And I heard a voice from heaven saying unto me, Write, Blessed are the dead which die in the Lord from henceforth: Yea, saith the Spirit, that they may rest from their labours; and their works do follow them.
我听见从天上有声音说,你要写下,从今以后,在主里面而死的人有福了。圣灵说,是的,他们息了自己的劳苦,作工的果效也随着他们。
