1. And they returned, and came to Enmishpat, which is Kadesh, and smote all the country of the Amalekites, and also the Amorites, that dwelt in Hazezontamar.
他们回到安密巴，就是加低斯，杀败了亚玛力全地的人，以及住在哈洗逊他玛的亚摩利人。

2. And he took six hundred chosen chariots, and all the chariots of Egypt, and captains over every one of them.
并带着六百辆特选的车和埃及所有的车，每辆都有车兵长。

3. And he shall sprinkle upon him that is to be cleansed from the leprosy seven times, and shall pronounce him clean, and shall let the living bird loose into the open field.
用以在那长大麻疯求洁净的人身上洒七次，就定他为洁净，又把活鸟放在田野里。

4. And they spake unto all the company of the children of Israel, saying, The land, which we passed through to search it, is an exceeding good land.
对以色列全会众说，我们所窥探，经过之地是极美之地。

5. Nevertheless these ye shall not eat of them that chew the cud, or of them that divide the cloven hoof; as the camel, and the hare, and the coney: for they chew the cud, but divide not the hoof; therefore they are unclean unto you.
但那些倒嚼或是分蹄之中不可吃的乃是骆驼，兔子，沙番因为是倒嚼不分蹄，就与你们不洁净。

6. Forty years old was I when Moses the servant of the LORD sent me from Kadeshbarnea to espy out the land; and I brought him word again as it was in mine heart.
耶和华的仆人摩西从加低斯巴尼亚打发我窥探这地，那时我正四十岁。我按着心意回报他。

7. And he went down, and talked with the woman; and she pleased Samson well.
参孙下去与女子说话，就喜悦她。

8. And his armourbearer said unto him, Do all that is in thine heart: turn thee; behold, I am with thee according to thy heart.
拿兵器的对他说，随你的心意行吧。你可以上去，我必跟随你，与你同心。

9. And, behold, the whole family is risen against thine handmaid, and they said, Deliver him that smote his brother, that we may kill him, for the life of his brother whom he slew; and we will destroy the heir also: and so they shall quench my coal which is left, and shall not leave to my husband neither name nor remainder upon the earth.
现在全家的人都起来攻击婢女，说，你将那打死兄弟的交出来，我们好治死他，偿他打死兄弟的命，灭绝那承受家业的。这样，他们要将我剩下的炭火灭尽，不与我丈夫留名留后在世上。

10. Go, tell Jeroboam, Thus saith the LORD God of Israel, Forasmuch as I exalted thee from among the people, and made thee prince over my people Israel,
你回去告诉耶罗波安说，耶和华以色列的神如此说，我从民中将你高举，立你作我民以色列的君，

11. He slew of Edom in the valley of salt ten thousand, and took Selah by war, and called the name of it Joktheel unto this day.
亚玛谢在盐谷杀了以东人一万，又攻取了西拉，改名叫约帖，直到今日。

12. And Elishama, and Beeliada, and Eliphalet.
以利沙玛，比利雅大，以利法列。

13. Therefore he said unto Judah, Let us build these cities, and make about them walls, and towers, gates, and bars, while the land is yet before us; because we have sought the LORD our God, we have sought him, and he hath given us rest on every side. So they built and prospered.
他对犹大人说，我们要建造这些城邑，四围筑墙，盖楼，安门，作闩。地还属我们，是因寻求耶和华我们的神。我们既寻求他，他就赐我们四境平安。于是建造城邑，诸事亨通。

14. For there is hope of a tree, if it be cut down, that it will sprout again, and that the tender branch thereof will not cease.
树若被砍下，还可指望发芽，嫩枝生长不息。

15. Oh that the salvation of Israel were come out of Zion! when the LORD bringeth back the captivity of his people, Jacob shall rejoice, and Israel shall be glad.
但愿以色列的救恩从锡安而出。耶和华救回他被掳的子民，那时雅各要快乐，以色列要欢喜。

16. Go from the presence of a foolish man, when thou perceivest not in him the lips of knowledge.
到愚昧人面前，不见他嘴中有知识。

17. The whole earth is at rest, and is quiet: they break forth into singing.
现在全地得安息，享平静。人皆发声欢呼。

18. O LORD, though our iniquities testify against us, do thou it for thy name's sake: for our backslidings are many; we have sinned against thee.
耶和华阿，我们的罪孽虽然作见证告我们，还求你为你名的缘故行事。我们本是多次背道，得罪了你。

19. For every one of the house of Israel, or of the stranger that sojourneth in Israel, which separateth himself from me, and setteth up his idols in his heart, and putteth the stumblingblock of his iniquity before his face, and cometh to a prophet to enquire of him concerning me; I the LORD will answer him by myself:
因为以色列家的人，或在以色列中寄居的外人，凡与我隔绝，将他的假神接到心里，把陷于罪的绊脚石放在面前，又就了先知来要为自己的事求问我的，我耶和华必亲自回答他。

20. They that dwell under his shadow shall return; they shall revive as the corn, and grow as the vine: the scent thereof shall be as the wine of Lebanon.
曾住在他荫下的必归回，发旺如五谷。开花如葡萄树。他的香气如黎巴嫩的酒。

21. But it shall be one day which shall be known to the LORD, not day, nor night: but it shall come to pass, that at evening time it shall be light.
那日，必是耶和华所知道的。不是白昼，也不是黑夜，到了晚上才有光明。

22. Whereupon he promised with an oath to give her whatsoever she would ask.
希律就起誓，应许随他所求的给他。

23. For ye have the poor with you always, and whensoever ye will ye may do them good: but me ye have not always.
因为常有穷人和你们同在，要向他们行善，随时都可以。只是你们不常有我。

24. And he put forth a parable to those which were bidden, when he marked how they chose out the chief rooms; saying unto them,
耶稣见所请的客拣择首位，就用比喻对他们说，

25. If ye had known me, ye should have known my Father also: and from henceforth ye know him, and have seen him.
你们若认识我，也就认识我的父。从今以后，你们认识他，并且已经看见他。

26. And there they preached the gospel.
在那里传福音。

27. For none of us liveth to himself, and no man dieth to himself.
我们没有一个人为自己活，也没有一个人为自己死。

28. And even things without life giving sound, whether pipe or harp, except they give a distinction in the sounds, how shall it be known what is piped or harped?
就是那有声无气的物，或箫，或琴，若发出来的声音，没有分别，怎能知道所吹所弹的是什么呢。

29. Saying with a loud voice, Fear God, and give glory to him; for the hour of his judgment is come: and worship him that made heaven, and earth, and the sea, and the fountains of waters.
他大声说，应当敬畏神，将荣耀归给他。因他施行审判的时候已经到了。应当敬拜那创造天地海和众水泉源的。
