1. And there went out the king of Sodom, and the king of Gomorrah, and the king of Admah, and the king of Zeboiim, and the king of Bela (the same is Zoar;) and they joined battle with them in the vale of Siddim;
于是所多玛王，蛾摩拉王，押玛王，洗扁王，和比拉王（比拉就是琐珥）都出来，在西订谷摆阵，与他们交战，

2. And the LORD hardened the heart of Pharaoh king of Egypt, and he pursued after the children of Israel: and the children of Israel went out with an high hand.
耶和华使埃及王法老的心刚硬，他就追赶以色列人，因为以色列人是昂然无惧地出埃及。

3. And he that is to be cleansed shall wash his clothes, and shave off all his hair, and wash himself in water, that he may be clean: and after that he shall come into the camp, and shall tarry abroad out of his tent seven days.
求洁净的人当洗衣服，剃去毛发，用水洗澡，就洁净了，然后可以进营，只是要在自己的帐棚外居住七天。

4. If the LORD delight in us, then he will bring us into this land, and give it us; a land which floweth with milk and honey.
耶和华若喜悦我们，就必将我们领进那地，把地赐给我们。那地原是流奶与蜜之地。

5. And the swine, because it divideth the hoof, yet cheweth not the cud, it is unclean unto you: ye shall not eat of their flesh, nor touch their dead carcase.
猪因为是分蹄却不倒嚼，就与你们不洁净。这些兽的肉，你们不可吃，死的也不可摸。

6. Nevertheless my brethren that went up with me made the heart of the people melt: but I wholly followed the LORD my God.
然而，同我上去的众弟兄使百姓的心消化。但我专心跟从耶和华我的神。

7. And after a time he returned to take her, and he turned aside to see the carcase of the lion: and, behold, there was a swarm of bees and honey in the carcase of the lion.
过了些日子，再下去要娶那女子，转向道旁要看死狮，见有一群蜂子和蜜在死狮之内，

8. Then said Jonathan, Behold, we will pass over unto these men, and we will discover ourselves unto them.
约拿单说，我们要过到那些人那里去，使他们看见我们。

9. And the king said unto the woman, Go to thine house, and I will give charge concerning thee.
王对妇人说，你回家去吧。我必为你下令。

10. And rent the kingdom away from the house of David, and gave it thee: and yet thou hast not been as my servant David, who kept my commandments, and who followed me with all his heart, to do that only which was right in mine eyes;
将国从大卫家夺回赐给你。你却不效法我仆人大卫，遵守我的诫命，一心顺从我，行我眼中看为正的事。

11. Then Amaziah sent messengers to Jehoash, the son of Jehoahaz son of Jehu, king of Israel, saying, Come, let us look one another in the face.
那时，亚玛谢差遣使者去见耶户的孙子约哈斯的儿子以色列王约阿施，说，你来，我们二人相见于战场。

12. And when the Philistines heard that David was anointed king over all Israel, all the Philistines went up to seek David. And David heard of it, and went out against them.
非利士人听见大卫受膏作以色列众人的王，非利士众人就上来寻索大卫。大卫听见，就出去迎敌。

13. And Asa had an army of men that bare targets and spears, out of Judah three hundred thousand; and out of Benjamin, that bare shields and drew bows, two hundred and fourscore thousand: all these were mighty men of valour.
亚撒的军兵，出自犹大拿盾牌拿枪的三十万人。出自便雅悯拿盾牌拉弓的二十八万人。这都是大能的勇士。

14. Though the root thereof wax old in the earth, and the stock thereof die in the ground;
其根虽然衰老在地里，干也死在土中。

15. The wisdom of the prudent is to understand his way: but the folly of fools is deceit.
通达人的智慧，在乎明白己道。愚昧人的愚妄，乃是诡诈。（或作自欺）

16. Yea, the fir trees rejoice at thee, and the cedars of Lebanon, saying, Since thou art laid down, no feller is come up against us.
松树和黎巴嫩的香柏树，都因你欢乐，说，自从你仆倒，再无人上来砍伐我们。

17. O the hope of Israel, the saviour thereof in time of trouble, why shouldest thou be as a stranger in the land, and as a wayfaring man that turneth aside to tarry for a night?
以色列所盼望，在患难时作他救主的阿，你为何在这地像寄居的，又像行路的只住一宵呢。

18. And I will set my face against that man, and will make him a sign and a proverb, and I will cut him off from the midst of my people; and ye shall know that I am the LORD.
我必向那人变脸，使他作了警戒，笑谈，令人惊骇，并且我要将他从我民中剪除。你们就知道我是耶和华。

19. Ephraim shall say, What have I to do any more with idols? I have heard him, and observed him: I am like a green fir tree. From me is thy fruit found.
以法莲必说，我与偶像还有什么关涉呢。我耶和华回答他，也必顾念他。我如青翠的松树，你的果子从我而得。

20. And it shall be in that day, that living waters shall go out from Jerusalem; half of them toward the former sea, and half of them toward the hinder sea: in summer and in winter shall it be.
那日必有活水从耶路撒冷出来，一半往东海流，一半往西海流。冬夏都是如此。

21. And she, being before instructed of her mother, said, Give me here John Baptist's head in a charger.
女儿被母亲所使，就说，请把施洗约翰的头，放在盘子里拿来给我。

22. She hath done what she could: she is come aforehand to anoint my body to the burying.
他所作的，是尽他所能的。他是为我安葬的事，把香膏豫先浇在我身上。

23. When thou art bidden of any man to a wedding, sit not down in the highest room; lest a more honourable man than thou be bidden of him;
你被人请去赴婚姻的筵席，不要坐在首位上。恐怕有比你尊贵的客，被他请来。

24. Philip saith unto him, Lord, shew us the Father, and it sufficeth us.
腓力对他说，求主将父显给我们看，我们就知足了。

25. And there sat a certain man at Lystra, impotent in his feet, being a cripple from his mother's womb, who never had walked:
路司得城里，坐着一个两脚无力的人，生来是瘸腿的，从来没有走过。

26. For whether we live, we live unto the Lord; and whether we die, we die unto the Lord: whether we live therefore, or die, we are the Lord's.
我们若活着，是为主而活。若死了，是为主而死。所以我们或活或死，总是主的人。

27. For if the trumpet give an uncertain sound, who shall prepare himself to the battle?
若吹无定的号声，谁能豫备打仗呢。

28. And there followed another angel, saying, Babylon is fallen, is fallen, that great city, because she made all nations drink of the wine of the wrath of her fornication.
又有第二位天使，接着说，叫万民喝邪淫大怒之酒的巴比伦大城倾倒了，倾倒了。
