1. And when the sun was going down, a deep sleep fell upon Abram; and, lo, an horror of great darkness fell upon him.
日头正落的时候，亚伯兰沉沉地睡了。忽然有惊人的大黑暗落在他身上。

2. Thou stretchedst out thy right hand, the earth swallowed them.
你伸出右手，地便吞灭他们。

3. And the vessel of earth, that he toucheth which hath the issue, shall be broken: and every vessel of wood shall be rinsed in water.
患漏症人所摸的瓦器就必打破，所摸的一切木器也必用水涮洗。

4. According to the number that ye shall prepare, so shall ye do to every one according to their number.
照你们所预备的数目，按着只数都要这样办理。

5. And if thy brother, an Hebrew man, or an Hebrew woman, be sold unto thee, and serve thee six years; then in the seventh year thou shalt let him go free from thee.
你弟兄中，若有一个希伯来男人或希伯来女人被卖给你，服事你六年，到第七年就要任他自由出去。

6. And the west border was to the great sea, and the coast thereof. This is the coast of the children of Judah round about according to their families.
西界就是大海和靠近大海之地。这是犹大人按着宗族所得之地四围的交界。

7. And they said unto him, We are come down to bind thee, that we may deliver thee into the hand of the Philistines. And Samson said unto them, Swear unto me, that ye will not fall upon me yourselves.
犹大人对他说，我们下来是要捆绑你，将你交在非利士人手中。参孙说，你们要向我起誓，应承你们自己不害死我。

8. And when Samuel rose early to meet Saul in the morning, it was told Samuel, saying, Saul came to Carmel, and, behold, he set him up a place, and is gone about, and passed on, and gone down to Gilgal.
撒母耳清早起来，迎接扫罗。有人告诉撒母耳说，扫罗到了迦密，在那里立了纪念碑，又转身下到吉甲。

9. And Absalom sent for Ahithophel the Gilonite, David's counsellor, from his city, even from Giloh, while he offered sacrifices. And the conspiracy was strong; for the people increased continually with Absalom.
押沙龙献祭的时候，打发人去将大卫的谋士，基罗人亚希多弗从他本城请了来。于是叛逆的势派甚大。因为随从押沙龙的人民，日渐增多。

10. And he took away the sodomites out of the land, and removed all the idols that his fathers had made.
从国中除去娈童，又除掉他列祖所造的一切偶像。

11. This was the word of the LORD which he spake unto Jehu, saying, Thy sons shall sit on the throne of Israel unto the fourth generation. And so it came to pass.
这是从前耶和华应许耶户说，你的子孙必坐以色列的国位直到四代。这话果然应验了。

12. And said unto them, Ye are the chief of the fathers of the Levites: sanctify yourselves, both ye and your brethren, that ye may bring up the ark of the LORD God of Israel unto the place that I have prepared for it.
对他们说，你们是利未人的族长，你们和你们的弟兄应当自洁，好将耶和华以色列神的约柜抬到我所预备的地方。

13. And they entered into a covenant to seek the LORD God of their fathers with all their heart and with all their soul;
他们就立约，要尽心尽性地寻求耶和华他们列祖的神。

14. Why doth thine heart carry thee away? and what do thy eyes wink at,
你的心为何将你逼去。你的眼为何冒出火星。

15. A scorner loveth not one that reproveth him: neither will he go unto the wise.
亵慢人不爱受责备。他也不就近智慧人。

16. Shall iron break the northern iron and the steel?
人岂能将铜与铁，就是北方的铁折断呢。

17. Then came his disciples, and said unto him, Knowest thou that the Pharisees were offended, after they heard this saying?
当时，门徒进前来对他说，法利赛人听见这话，不服，你知道吗。（不服原文作跌倒）

18. And Pilate answered and said again unto them, What will ye then that I shall do unto him whom ye call the King of the Jews?
彼拉多又说，那吗样你们所称为犹太人的王，我怎吗办他呢。

19. And the younger of them said to his father, Father, give me the portion of goods that falleth to me. And he divided unto them his living.
小儿子对父亲说，父亲，请你把我应得的家业分给我。他父亲就把产业分给他们。

20. This is my commandment, That ye love one another, as I have loved you.
你们要彼此相爱，像我爱你们一样，这就是我的命令。

21. Then all the multitude kept silence, and gave audience to Barnabas and Paul, declaring what miracles and wonders God had wrought among the Gentiles by them.
众人都默默无声，听巴拿巴和保罗，述说神藉他们在外邦人所行的神迹奇事。

22. And again, Esaias saith, There shall be a root of Jesse, and he that shall rise to reign over the Gentiles; in him shall the Gentiles trust.
又有以赛亚说，将来有耶西的根，就是那兴起来要治理外邦的。外邦人要仰望他。

23. Now if Christ be preached that he rose from the dead, how say some among you that there is no resurrection of the dead?
既传基督是从死里复活了，怎吗在你们中间，有人说没有死人复活的事呢。
