1. This is the law of him that hath an issue, and of him whose seed goeth from him, and is defiled therewith;
这是患漏症和梦遗而不洁净的，

2. And while the children of Israel were in the wilderness, they found a man that gathered sticks upon the sabbath day.
以色列人在旷野的时候，遇见一个人在安息日捡柴。

3. And Lebaoth, and Shilhim, and Ain, and Rimmon: all the cities are twenty and nine, with their villages:
利巴勿，实忻，亚因，临门，共二十九座城，还有属城的村庄。

4. Then said Samuel, Bring ye hither to me Agag the king of the Amalekites. And Agag came unto him delicately. And Agag said, Surely the bitterness of death is past.
撒母耳说，要把亚玛力王亚甲带到我这里来。亚甲就欢欢喜喜地来到他面前，心里说，死亡的苦难必定过去了。

5. And it came to pass, that when David was come to the top of the mount, where he worshipped God, behold, Hushai the Archite came to meet him with his coat rent, and earth upon his head:
大卫到了山顶，敬拜神的地方，见亚基人户筛，衣服撕裂，头蒙灰尘来迎接他。

6. And there was war between Asa and Baasha king of Israel all their days.
亚撒和以色列王巴沙在世的日子常常争战。

7. In the second year of Pekah the son of Remaliah king of Israel began Jotham the son of Uzziah king of Judah to reign.
以色列王利玛利的儿子比加第二年，犹大王乌西雅的儿子约坦登基。

8. It shall be accomplished before his time, and his branch shall not be green.
他的日期未到之先，这事必成就。他的枝子不得青绿。

9. He that refuseth instruction despiseth his own soul: but he that heareth reproof getteth understanding.
弃绝管教的，轻看自己的生命。听从责备的，却得智慧。

10. Then Jesus called his disciples unto him, and said, I have compassion on the multitude, because they continue with me now three days, and have nothing to eat: and I will not send them away fasting, lest they faint in the way.
耶稣叫门徒来说，我怜悯这众人，因为他们同我在这里已经三天，也没有吃的了。我不愿意叫他们饿着回去，恐怕在路上困乏。

11. Let Christ the King of Israel descend now from the cross, that we may see and believe. And they that were crucified with him reviled him.
以色列的王基督，现在可以从十字架上下来，叫我们看见，就信了。那和他同钉的人也是讥诮他。

12. It was meet that we should make merry, and be glad: for this thy brother was dead, and is alive again; and was lost, and is found.
只是你这个兄弟是死而复活，失而又得的，所以我们理当欢喜快乐。

13. And Judas and Silas, being prophets also themselves, exhorted the brethren with many words, and confirmed them.
犹大和西拉也是先知，就用许多话劝勉弟兄，坚固他们。

14. That I may come unto you with joy by the will of God, and may with you be refreshed.
并叫我顺着神的旨意，欢欢喜喜的到你们那里，与你们同得安息。

15. If after the manner of men I have fought with beasts at Ephesus, what advantageth it me, if the dead rise not? let us eat and drink; for to morrow we die.
我若当日像寻常人，在以弗所同野兽战斗，那于我有什么益处呢。若死人不复活，我们就吃吃喝喝吧。因为明天要死了。
