1. Is any thing too hard for the LORD? At the time appointed I will return unto thee, according to the time of life, and Sarah shall have a son.
耶和华岂有难成的事吗。到了日期，明年这时候，我必回到你这里，撒拉必生一个儿子。

2. Every thing devoted in Israel shall be thine.
以色列中一切永献的都必归与你。

3. The spirit of a man will sustain his infirmity; but a wounded spirit who can bear?
人有疾病，心能忍耐。心灵忧伤，谁能承当呢。

4. And when Moses' father in law saw all that he did to the people, he said, What is this thing that thou doest to the people? why sittest thou thyself alone, and all the people stand by thee from morning unto even?
摩西的岳父看见他向百姓所作的一切事，就说，你向百姓作的是什么事呢，你为什么独自坐着，众百姓从早到晚都站在你的左右呢。

5. Thou shalt not uncover the nakedness of thy father's brother, thou shalt not approach to his wife: she is thine aunt.
不可亲近你伯叔之妻，羞辱了你伯叔，她是你的伯叔母。

6. For these nations, which thou shalt possess, hearkened unto observers of times, and unto diviners: but as for thee, the LORD thy God hath not suffered thee so to do.
因你所要赶出的那些国民都听信观兆的和占卜的，至于你，耶和华你的神从来不许你这样行。

7. And the border was drawn thence, and compassed the corner of the sea southward, from the hill that lieth before Bethhoron southward; and the goings out thereof were at Kirjathbaal, which is Kirjathjearim, a city of the children of Judah: this was the west quarter.
从那里往西，又转向南，从伯和仑南对面的山，直达到犹大人的城基列巴力（基列巴力就是基列耶琳）。这是西界。

8. Then answered the five men that went to spy out the country of Laish, and said unto their brethren, Do ye know that there is in these houses an ephod, and teraphim, and a graven image, and a molten image? now therefore consider what ye have to do.
从前窥探拉亿地的五个人对他们的弟兄说，这宅子里有以弗得和家中的神像，并雕刻的像与铸成的像，你们知道吗。现在你们要想一想当怎样行。

9. And David behaved himself wisely in all his ways; and the LORD was with him.
大卫作事无不精明，耶和华也与他同在。

10. Then said Joab, I may not tarry thus with thee. And he took three darts in his hand, and thrust them through the heart of Absalom, while he was yet alive in the midst of the oak.
约押说，我不能与你留连。约押手拿三杆短枪，趁押沙龙在橡树上还活着，就刺透他的心。

11. And now thou sayest, Go, tell thy lord, Behold, Elijah is here: and he shall slay me.
现在你说，要去告诉你主人说，以利亚在这里，他必杀我。

12. And Hezekiah king of Judah sent to the king of Assyria to Lachish, saying, I have offended; return from me: that which thou puttest on me will I bear. And the king of Assyria appointed unto Hezekiah king of Judah three hundred talents of silver and thirty talents of gold.
犹大王希西家差人往拉吉去见亚述王，说，我有罪了，求你离开我。凡你罚我的，我必承当。于是亚述王罚犹大王希西家银子三百他连得，金子三十他连得。

13. So David reigned over all Israel, and executed judgment and justice among all his people.
大卫作以色列众人的王，又向众民秉公行义。

14. And when he was come to the king, the king said unto him, Micaiah, shall we go to Ramothgilead to battle, or shall I forbear? And he said, Go ye up, and prosper, and they shall be delivered into your hand.
米该雅到王面前，王问他说，米该雅阿，我们上去攻取基列的拉末可以不可以。他说，可以上去，必然得胜，敌人必交在你们手里。

15. His confidence shall be rooted out of his tabernacle, and it shall bring him to the king of terrors.
他要从所倚靠的帐棚被拔出来，带到惊吓的王那里。

16. Yea, he sent out his arrows, and scattered them; and he shot out lightnings, and discomfited them.
他射出箭来，使仇敌四散。多多发出闪电，使他们扰乱。

17. Now, lo, if he beget a son, that seeth all his father's sins which he hath done, and considereth, and doeth not such like,
他若生一个儿子，见父亲所犯的一切罪便惧怕（有古卷作思量），不照样去作。

18. Will a man leave the snow of Lebanon which cometh from the rock of the field? or shall the cold flowing waters that come from another place be forsaken?
黎巴嫩的雪从田野的磐石上岂能断绝呢。从远处流下的凉水岂能乾涸呢。

19. Even so it is not the will of your Father which is in heaven, that one of these little ones should perish.
你们在天上的父，也是这样不愿意这小子里失丧一个。

20. I tell you, this man went down to his house justified rather than the other: for every one that exalteth himself shall be abased; and he that humbleth himself shall be exalted.
我告诉你们，这人回家去，比那人倒算为义了，因为凡自高的，必降为卑，自卑的，必升为高。

21. Now Caiaphas was he, which gave counsel to the Jews, that it was expedient that one man should die for the people.
这该亚法，就是从前向犹太人发议论说，一个人替百姓死是有益的那位。

22. And when Paul was now about to open his mouth, Gallio said unto the Jews, If it were a matter of wrong or wicked lewdness, O ye Jews, reason would that I should bear with you:
保罗刚要开口，迦流就对犹太人说，你们这些犹太人，如果是为冤枉，或奸恶的事，我理当耐性听你们。

23. And the fruits that thy soul lusted after are departed from thee, and all things which were dainty and goodly are departed from thee, and thou shalt find them no more at all.
巴比伦哪，你所贪爱的果子离开了你。你一切的珍馐美味，和华美的物件，也从你中间毁灭，决不能再见了。
