1. And the LORD said, If I find in Sodom fifty righteous within the city, then I will spare all the place for their sakes.
耶和华说，我若在所多玛城里见有五十个义人，我就为他们的缘故饶恕那地方的众人。

2. And they judged the people at all seasons: the hard causes they brought unto Moses, but every small matter they judged themselves.
他们随时审判百姓，有难断的案件就呈到摩西那里，但各样小事他们自己审判。

3. Ye shall therefore keep my statutes and my judgments, and shall not commit any of these abominations; neither any of your own nation, nor any stranger that sojourneth among you:
故此，你们要守我的律例典章。这一切可憎恶的事，无论是本地人，是寄居在你们中间的外人，都不可行，

4. Thus speak unto the Levites, and say unto them, When ye take of the children of Israel the tithes which I have given you from them for your inheritance, then ye shall offer up an heave offering of it for the LORD, even a tenth part of the tithe.
你晓谕利未人说，你们从以色列人中所取的十分之一，就是我给你们为业的，要再从那十分之一中取十分之一作为举祭献给耶和华，

5. And Mizpeh, and Chephirah, and Mozah,
米斯巴，基非拉，摩撒，

6. And the children of Dan went their way: and when Micah saw that they were too strong for him, he turned and went back unto his house.
但人还是走他们的路。米迦见他们的势力比自己强盛，就转身回家去了。

7. And when his servants told David these words, it pleased David well to be the king's son in law: and the days were not expired.
扫罗的臣仆将这话告诉大卫，大卫就欢喜作王的女婿。日期还没有到，

8. And the watchman saw another man running: and the watchman called unto the porter, and said, Behold another man running alone. And the king said, He also bringeth tidings.
守望的人又见一人跑来，就对守城门的人说，又有一人独自跑来。王说，这也必是报信的。

9. And they took the bullock which was given them, and they dressed it, and called on the name of Baal from morning even until noon, saying, O Baal, hear us. But there was no voice, nor any that answered. And they leaped upon the altar which was made.
他们将所得的牛犊预备好了，从早晨到午间，求告巴力的名说，巴力阿，求你应允我们。却没有声音，没有应允的。他们在所筑的坛四围踊跳。

10. Then said Eliakim the son of Hilkiah, and Shebna, and Joah, unto Rabshakeh, Speak, I pray thee, to thy servants in the Syrian language; for we understand it: and talk not with us in the Jews' language in the ears of the people that are on the wall.
希勒家的儿子以利亚敬和舍伯那，并约亚，对拉伯沙基说，求你用亚兰言语和仆人说话，因为我们懂得。不要用犹大言语和我们说话，达到城上百姓的耳中。

11. And say, Thus saith the king, Put this fellow in the prison, and feed him with bread of affliction and with water of affliction, until I return in peace.
王如此说，把这个人下在监里，使他受苦，吃不饱喝不足，等候我平平安安地回来。

12. With the pure thou wilt shew thyself pure; and with the froward thou wilt shew thyself froward.
清洁的人，你以清洁待他。乖僻的人，你以弯曲待他。

13. When a righteous man turneth away from his righteousness, and committeth iniquity, and dieth in them; for his iniquity that he hath done shall he die.
义人若转离义行而作罪孽死亡，他是因所作的罪孽死亡。

14. The servant therefore fell down, and worshipped him, saying, Lord, have patience with me, and I will pay thee all.
那仆人就俯伏拜他说，主阿，宽容我，将来我都要还清。

15. And they that heard it said, Who then can be saved?
听见的人说，这样，谁能得救呢。

16. One of the servants of the high priest, being his kinsman whose ear Peter cut off, saith, Did not I see thee in the garden with him?
有大祭司的一个仆人，是彼得削掉耳朵那人的亲属，说，我不是看见你同他在园子里吗。

17. And he began to speak boldly in the synagogue: whom when Aquila and Priscilla had heard, they took him unto them, and expounded unto him the way of God more perfectly.
他在会堂放胆讲道，百基拉，亚居拉听见，就接他来，将神的道给他讲解更加详细。
