1. And he said unto him, Oh let not the LORD be angry, and I will speak: Peradventure there shall thirty be found there. And he said, I will not do it, if I find thirty there.
亚伯拉罕说，求主不要动怒，容我说。假若在那里见有三十个怎吗样呢。他说，我在那里若见有三十个，我也不作这事。

2. Therefore shall ye keep mine ordinance, that ye commit not any one of these abominable customs, which were committed before you, and that ye defile not yourselves therein: I am the LORD your God.
所以，你们要守我所吩咐的，免得你们随从那些可憎的恶俗，就是在你们以先的人所常行的，以致玷污了自己。我是耶和华你们的神。

3. Therefore thou shalt say unto them, When ye have heaved the best thereof from it, then it shall be counted unto the Levites as the increase of the threshingfloor, and as the increase of the winepress.
所以你要对利未人说，你们从其中将至好的举起，这就算为你们场上的粮，又如酒榨的酒。

4. And the children of Dan set up the graven image: and Jonathan, the son of Gershom, the son of Manasseh, he and his sons were priests to the tribe of Dan until the day of the captivity of the land.
但人就为自己设立那雕刻的像。摩西的孙子，革舜的儿子约拿单，和他的子孙作但支派的祭司，直到那地遭掳掠的日子。

5. Then the princes of the Philistines went forth: and it came to pass, after they went forth, that David behaved himself more wisely than all the servants of Saul; so that his name was much set by.
每逢非利士军长出来打仗，大卫比扫罗的臣仆作事精明，因此他的名被人尊重。

6. And the king said unto him, Turn aside, and stand here. And he turned aside, and stood still.
王说，你退去，站在旁边。他就退去，站在旁边。

7. And Elijah said unto all the people, Come near unto me. And all the people came near unto him. And he repaired the altar of the LORD that was broken down.
以利亚对众民说，你们到我这里来。众民就到他那里。他便重修已经毁坏耶和华的坛。

8. Neither let Hezekiah make you trust in the LORD, saying, The LORD will surely deliver us, and this city shall not be delivered into the hand of the king of Assyria.
也不要听希西家使你们倚靠耶和华，说耶和华必要拯救我们，这城必不交在亚述王的手中。

9. Now the king of Syria had commanded the captains of the chariots that were with him, saying, Fight ye not with small or great, save only with the king of Israel.
先是亚兰王吩咐车兵长说，他们的兵将，无论大小，你们都不可与他们争战，只要与以色列王争战。

10. As for God, his way is perfect: the word of the LORD is tried: he is a buckler to all those that trust in him.
至于神，他的道是完全的。耶和华的话是炼净的。凡投靠他的，他便作他们的盾牌。

11. Therefore I will judge you, O house of Israel, every one according to his ways, saith the Lord GOD. Repent, and turn yourselves from all your transgressions; so iniquity shall not be your ruin.
所以主耶和华说，以色列家阿，我必按你们各人所行的审判你们。你们当回头离开所犯的一切罪过。这样，罪孽必不使你们败亡。

12. And he would not: but went and cast him into prison, till he should pay the debt.
他不肯，竟去把他下在监里，等他还了所欠的债。

13. Who shall not receive manifold more in this present time, and in the world to come life everlasting.
没有在今世不得百倍，在来世不得永生的。

14. They answered and said unto him, If he were not a malefactor, we would not have delivered him up unto thee.
他们回答说，这人若不是作恶的，我们就不把他交给你。
