1. And it came to pass at the time of the offering of the evening sacrifice, that Elijah the prophet came near, and said, LORD God of Abraham, Isaac, and of Israel, let it be known this day that thou art God in Israel, and that I am thy servant, and that I have done all these things at thy word.
到了献晚祭的时候，先知以利亚近前来，说，亚伯拉罕，以撒，以色列的神，耶和华阿，求你今日使人知道你是以色列的神，也知道我是你的仆人，又是奉你的命行这一切事。

2. But the people held their peace, and answered him not a word: for the king's commandment was, saying, Answer him not.
百姓静默不言，并不回答一句，因为王曾吩咐说，不要回答他。

3. Thou hast enlarged my steps under me, that my feet did not slip.
你使我脚下的地步宽阔。我的脚未曾滑跌。

4. And hearing the multitude pass by, he asked what it meant.
听见许多人经过，就问是什么事。

5. Jesus answered, My kingdom is not of this world: if my kingdom were of this world, then would my servants fight, that I should not be delivered to the Jews: but now is my kingdom not from hence.
耶稣回答说，我的国不属这世界。我的国若属这世界，我的臣仆必要争战，使我不至于被交给犹太人。只是我的国不属这世界。
