1. Hear me, O LORD, hear me, that this people may know that thou art the LORD God, and that thou hast turned their heart back again.
耶和华阿，求你应允我，应允我。使这民知道你耶和华是神，又知道是你叫这民的心回转。

2. Then came Eliakim the son of Hilkiah, which was over the household, and Shebna the scribe, and Joah the son of Asaph the recorder, to Hezekiah with their clothes rent, and told him the words of Rabshakeh.
当下，希勒家的儿子家宰以利亚敬和书记舍伯那，并亚萨的儿子史官约亚，都撕裂衣服，来到希西家那里，将拉伯沙基的话告诉了他。

3. I have pursued mine enemies, and overtaken them: neither did I turn again till they were consumed.
我要追赶我的仇敌，必要追上他们。不将他们灭绝，我总不归回。

4. And they told him, that Jesus of Nazareth passeth by.
他们告诉他，是拿撒勒人耶稣经过。

5. Pilate therefore said unto him, Art thou a king then? Jesus answered, Thou sayest that I am a king. To this end was I born, and for this cause came I into the world, that I should bear witness unto the truth. Every one that is of the truth heareth my voice.
彼拉多就对他说，这样，你是王吗。耶稣回答说，你说我是王。我为此而生，也为此来到世间，特为给真理作见证。凡属真理的人，就听我的话。
