1. Let a little water, I pray you, be fetched, and wash your feet, and rest yourselves under the tree:
容我拿点水来,你们洗洗脚,在树下歇息歇息。

2. And they shall be joined unto thee, and keep the charge of the tabernacle of the congregation, for all the service of the tabernacle: and a stranger shall not come nigh unto you.
他们要与你联合,也要看守会幕,办理帐幕一切的事,只是外人不可挨近你们。

3. The words of a man's mouth are as deep waters, and the wellspring of wisdom as a flowing brook.
人口中的言语,如同深水。智慧的泉源,好像涌流的河水。

4. And the name of the other was Eliezer; for the God of my father, said he, was mine help, and delivered me from the sword of Pharaoh:
一个名叫以利以谢,因为他说,我父亲的神帮助了我,救我脱离法老的刀。

5. Ye shall do my judgments, and keep mine ordinances, to walk therein: I am the LORD your God.
你们要遵我的典章,守我的律例,按此而行。我是耶和华你们的神。

6. The firstfruit also of thy corn, of thy wine, and of thine oil, and the first of the fleece of thy sheep, shalt thou give him.
初收的五谷,新酒和油,并初剪的羊毛,也要给他。

7. Give out from among you three men for each tribe: and I will send them, and they shall rise, and go through the land, and describe it according to the inheritance of them; and they shall come again to me.
你们每支派当选举三个人,我要打发他们去,他们就要起身走遍那地,按着各支派应得的地业写明(或作画图),就回到我这里来。

8. And he said unto them, Thus and thus dealeth Micah with me, and hath hired me, and I am his priest.
他回答说,米迦待我如此如此,请我作祭司。

9. And Jonathan stripped himself of the robe that was upon him, and gave it to David, and his garments, even to his sword, and to his bow, and to his girdle.
约拿单从身上脱下外袍,给了大卫,又将战衣,刀,弓,腰带都给了他。

10. And the king said unto them, What seemeth you best I will do. And the king stood by the gate side, and all the people came out by hundreds and by thousands.
王向他们说,你们以为怎样好,我就怎样行。于是王站在城门旁,军兵或百或千地挨次出去了。

11. For it was so, when Jezebel cut off the prophets of the LORD, that Obadiah took an hundred prophets, and hid them by fifty in a cave, and fed them with bread and water.)
耶洗别杀耶和华众先知的时候,俄巴底将一百个先知藏了,每五十人藏在一个洞里,拿饼和水供养他们。

12. He removed the high places, and brake the images, and cut down the groves, and brake in pieces the brasen serpent that Moses had made: for unto those days the children of Israel did burn incense to it: and he called it Nehushtan.
他废去邱坛,毁坏柱像,砍下木偶,打碎摩西所造的铜蛇,因为到那时以色列人仍向铜蛇烧香。希西家叫铜蛇为铜块(或作人称铜蛇为铜像)。

13. And David took from him a thousand chariots, and seven thousand horsemen, and twenty thousand footmen: David also houghed all the chariot horses, but reserved of them an hundred chariots.
夺了他的战车一千,马兵七千,步兵二万,将拉战车的马砍断蹄筋,但留下一百辆车的马。

14. And Jehoshaphat said unto the king of Israel, Enquire, I pray thee, at the word of the LORD to day.
约沙法对以色列王说,请你先求问耶和华。

15. He teareth himself in his anger: shall the earth be forsaken for thee? and shall the rock be removed out of his place?
你这恼怒将自己撕裂的,难道大地为你见弃,磐石挪开原处吗。

16. The sorrows of death compassed me, and the floods of ungodly men made me afraid.
曾有死亡的绳索缠绕我。匪类的急流使我惊惧。

17. For so the LORD said unto me, I will take my rest, and I will consider in my dwelling place like a clear heat upon herbs, and like a cloud of dew in the heat of harvest.
耶和华对我这样说,我要安静,在我的居所观看,如同日光中的清热,又如露水的云雾在收割的热天。

18. Behold, all souls are mine; as the soul of the father, so also the soul of the son is mine: the soul that sinneth, it shall die.
看哪,世人都是属我的。为父的怎样属我,为子的也照样属我。犯罪的,他必死亡。

19. And the vessel that he made of clay was marred in the hand of the potter: so he made it again another vessel, as seemed good to the potter to make it.
窑匠用泥作的器皿,在他手中作坏了,他又用这泥另作别的器皿。窑匠看怎样好,就怎样作。

20. Whosoever therefore shall humble himself as this little child, the same is greatest in the kingdom of heaven.
所以凡自己谦卑像这小孩子的,他在天国里就是最大的。

21. And he would not for a while: but afterward he said within himself, Though I fear not God, nor regard man;
他多日不准。后来心里说,我虽不惧帕神,也不尊重世人。

22. Jesus therefore, knowing all things that should come upon him, went forth, and said unto them, Whom seek ye?
耶稣知道将要临到自己的一切事,就出来,对他们说,你们找谁。

23. And he reasoned in the synagogue every sabbath, and persuaded the Jews and the Greeks.
每逢安息日,保罗在会堂里辩论,劝化犹太人和希腊人。

24. And I heard another voice from heaven, saying, Come out of her, my people, that ye be not partakers of her sins, and that ye receive not of her plagues.
我又听见从天上有声音说,我的民哪,你们要从那城出来,免得与他一同有罪,受他所受的灾殃。
