1. And he took butter, and milk, and the calf which he had dressed, and set it before them; and he stood by them under the tree, and they did eat.
亚伯拉罕又取了奶油和奶，并预备好的牛犊来，摆在他们面前，自己在树下站在旁边，他们就吃了。

2. And the LORD spake unto Aaron, Behold, I also have given thee the charge of mine heave offerings of all the hallowed things of the children of Israel; unto thee have I given them by reason of the anointing, and to thy sons, by an ordinance for ever.
耶和华晓谕亚伦说，我已将归我的举祭，就是以色列人一切分别为圣的物，交给你经管。因你受过膏，把这些都赐给你和你的子孙，当作永得的分。

3. The words of a talebearer are as wounds, and they go down into the innermost parts of the belly.
传舌人的言语，如同美食，深入人的心腹。

4. And Moses told his father in law all that the LORD had done unto Pharaoh and to the Egyptians for Israel's sake, and all the travail that had come upon them by the way, and how the LORD delivered them.
摩西将耶和华为以色列的缘故向法老和埃及人所行的一切事，以及路上所遭遇的一切艰难，并耶和华怎样搭救他们，都述说与他岳父听。

5. The nakedness of thy father's wife shalt thou not uncover: it is thy father's nakedness.
不可露你继母的下体，这本是你父亲的下体。

6. They shall have like portions to eat, beside that which cometh of the sale of his patrimony.
除了他卖祖父产业所得的以外，还要得一分祭物与他们同吃。

7. And the men arose, and went away: and Joshua charged them that went to describe the land, saying, Go and walk through the land, and describe it, and come again to me, that I may here cast lots for you before the LORD in Shiloh.
划地势的人起身去的时候，约书亚嘱咐他们说，你们去走遍那地，划明地势，就回到我这里来。我要在示罗这里，耶和华面前，为你们拈阄。

8. And they came unto their brethren to Zorah and Eshtaol: and their brethren said unto them, What say ye?
五人回到琐拉和以实陶，见他们的弟兄。弟兄问他们说，你们有什么话。

9. And Saul was very wroth, and the saying displeased him; and he said, They have ascribed unto David ten thousands, and to me they have ascribed but thousands: and what can he have more but the kingdom?
扫罗甚发怒，不喜悦这话，就说，将万万归大卫，千千归我，只剩下王位没有给他了。

10. For the battle was there scattered over the face of all the country: and the wood devoured more people that day than the sword devoured.
因为在那里四面打仗，死于树林的比死于刀剑的更多。

11. And he answered him, I am: go, tell thy lord, Behold, Elijah is here.
回答说，是。你去告诉你主人说，以利亚在这里。

12. He smote the Philistines, even unto Gaza, and the borders thereof, from the tower of the watchmen to the fenced city.
希西家攻击非利士人，直到迦萨，并迦萨的四境，从了望楼到坚固城。

13. Likewise from Tibhath, and from Chun, cities of Hadarezer, brought David very much brass, wherewith Solomon made the brasen sea, and the pillars, and the vessels of brass.
大卫又从属哈大利谢的提巴（提巴或作比他）和均二城中夺取了许多的铜。后来所罗门用此制造铜海，铜柱，和一切的铜器。

14. And the king of Israel called for one of his officers, and said, Fetch quickly Micaiah the son of Imla.
以色列王就召了一个太监来，说，你快去将音拉的儿子米该雅召来。

15. For he is cast into a net by his own feet, and he walketh upon a snare.
因为他被自己的脚陷入网中，走在缠人的网罗上。

16. There went up a smoke out of his nostrils, and fire out of his mouth devoured: coals were kindled by it.
从他鼻孔冒烟上腾，从他口中发火焚烧。连炭也着了。

17. He that hath not given forth upon usury, neither hath taken any increase, that hath withdrawn his hand from iniquity, hath executed true judgment between man and man,
未曾向借钱的弟兄取利，也未曾向借粮的弟兄多要，缩手不作罪孽，在两人之间，按至理判断。

18. If that nation, against whom I have pronounced, turn from their evil, I will repent of the evil that I thought to do unto them.
我所说的那一邦，若是转意离开他们的恶，我就必后悔，不将我想要施行的灾祸降与他们。

19. Wherefore if thy hand or thy foot offend thee, cut them off, and cast them from thee: it is better for thee to enter into life halt or maimed, rather than having two hands or two feet to be cast into everlasting fire.
倘若你一只手，或是一只脚，叫你跌倒，就砍下来丢掉。你缺一只手，或是一只脚，进入永生，强如有两手两脚，被丢在永火里。

20. I tell you that he will avenge them speedily. Nevertheless when the Son of man cometh, shall he find faith on the earth?
我告诉你们，要快快的给他们伸冤了，然而人子来的时候，遇得见世上有信德吗。

21. Jesus answered, I have told you that I am he: if therefore ye seek me, let these go their way:
耶稣说，我已经告诉你们，我就是。你们若找我，就让这些人去吧。

22. And Crispus, the chief ruler of the synagogue, believed on the Lord with all his house; and many of the Corinthians hearing believed, and were baptized.
管会堂的基利司布和全家都信了主。还有许多哥林多人听了，就相信受洗。

23. Therefore shall her plagues come in one day, death, and mourning, and famine; and she shall be utterly burned with fire: for strong is the Lord God who judgeth her.
所以在一天之内，他的灾殃要一齐来到，就是死亡，悲哀，饥荒，他又要被火烧尽了。因为审判他的主神大有能力。
