1. And he said, Behold now, my lords, turn in, I pray you, into your servant's house, and tarry all night, and wash your feet, and ye shall rise up early, and go on your ways. And they said, Nay; but we will abide in the street all night.
说，我主阿，请你们到仆人家里洗洗脚，住一夜，清早起来再走。他们说，不，我们要在街上过夜。

2. For they were departed from Rephidim, and were come to the desert of Sinai, and had pitched in the wilderness; and there Israel camped before the mount.
他们离了利非订，来到西奈的旷野，就在那里的山下安营。

3. Speak unto all the congregation of the children of Israel, and say unto them, Ye shall be holy: for I the LORD your God am holy.
你晓谕以色列全会众说，你们要圣洁，因为我耶和华你们的神是圣洁的。

4. This is the ordinance of the law which the LORD hath commanded, saying, Speak unto the children of Israel, that they bring thee a red heifer without spot, wherein is no blemish, and upon which never came yoke:
耶和华命定律法中的一条律例乃是这样说，你要吩咐以色列人，把一只没有残疾，未曾负轭，纯红的母牛牵到你这里来，

5. Thou shalt separate three cities for thee in the midst of thy land, which the LORD thy God giveth thee to possess it.
就要在耶和华你神所赐你为业的地上分定三座城。

6. And they had in their inheritance Beersheba, and Sheba, and Moladah,
他们所得为业之地就是，别是巴（或名示巴），摩拉大，

7. And his concubine played the whore against him, and went away from him unto her father's house to Bethlehemjudah, and was there four whole months.
妾行淫离开丈夫，回犹大的伯利恒，到了父家，在那里住了四个月。

8. But Jonathan Saul's son delighted much in David: and Jonathan told David, saying, Saul my father seeketh to kill thee: now therefore, I pray thee, take heed to thyself until the morning, and abide in a secret place, and hide thyself:
约拿单告诉大卫说，我父扫罗想要杀你，所以明日早晨你要小心，到一个僻静地方藏身。

9. And the victory that day was turned into mourning unto all the people: for the people heard say that day how the king was grieved for his son.
众民听说王为他儿子忧愁，他们得胜的欢乐却变成悲哀。

10. Then Jezebel sent a messenger unto Elijah, saying, So let the gods do to me, and more also, if I make not thy life as the life of one of them by to morrow about this time.
耶洗别就差遣人去见以利亚，告诉他说，明日约在这时候，我若不使你的性命像那些人的性命一样，愿神明重重地降罚与我。

11. And he sent Eliakim, which was over the household, and Shebna the scribe, and the elders of the priests, covered with sackcloth, to Isaiah the prophet the son of Amoz.
使家宰以利亚敬和书记舍伯那，并祭司中的长老，都披上麻布，去见亚摩斯的儿子先知以赛亚，

12. And David said, I will shew kindness unto Hanun the son of Nahash, because his father shewed kindness to me. And David sent messengers to comfort him concerning his father. So the servants of David came into the land of the children of Ammon to Hanun, to comfort him.
大卫说，我要照哈嫩的父亲拿辖厚待我的恩典厚待哈嫩。于是大卫差遣使者为他丧父安慰他。大卫的臣仆到了亚扪人的境内见哈嫩，要安慰他，

13. And Jehu the son of Hanani the seer went out to meet him, and said to king Jehoshaphat, Shouldest thou help the ungodly, and love them that hate the LORD? therefore is wrath upon thee from before the LORD.
先见哈拿尼的儿子耶户出来迎接约沙法王，对他说，你岂当帮助恶人，爱那恨恶耶和华的人呢。因此耶和华的忿怒临到你。

14. How long will ye vex my soul, and break me in pieces with words?
你们搅扰我的心，用言语压碎我，要到几时呢。ⅶ

15. Day unto day uttereth speech, and night unto night sheweth knowledge.
这日到那日发出言语。这夜到那夜传出知识。

16. Also, that the soul be without knowledge, it is not good; and he that hasteth with his feet sinneth.
心无知识的，乃为不善。脚步急快的难免犯罪。

17. And I will set the Egyptians against the Egyptians: and they shall fight every one against his brother, and every one against his neighbour; city against city, and kingdom against kingdom.
我必激动埃及人攻击埃及人，弟兄攻击弟兄，邻舍攻击邻舍，这城攻击那城，这国攻击那国。

18. And go forth unto the valley of the son of Hinnom, which is by the entry of the east gate, and proclaim there the words that I shall tell thee,
出去到欣嫩子谷，哈珥西（就是瓦片的意思）的门口那里，宣告我所吩咐你的话，

19. And say, What is thy mother? A lioness: she lay down among lions, she nourished her whelps among young lions.
说，你的母亲是什么呢。是个母狮子，蹲伏在狮子中间，在少壮狮子中养育小狮子。

20. And great multitudes followed him; and he healed them there.
有许多人跟着他。他就在那里把他们的病人治好了。

21. And, behold, there was a man named Zacchaeus, which was the chief among the publicans, and he was rich.
有一个人名叫撒该，作税吏长，是个财主。

22. And the soldiers platted a crown of thorns, and put it on his head, and they put on him a purple robe,
兵丁用荆棘编作冠冕，戴在他头上，给他穿上紫袍。

23. He said unto them, Have ye received the Holy Ghost since ye believed? And they said unto him, We have not so much as heard whether there be any Holy Ghost.
问他们说，你们信的时候，受了圣灵没有。他们回答说，没有，也未曾听见有圣灵赐下来

24. For true and righteous are his judgments: for he hath judged the great whore, which did corrupt the earth with her fornication, and hath avenged the blood of his servants at her hand.
他的判断是真实公义的。因他判断了那用淫行败坏世界的大淫妇，并且向淫妇讨流仆人血的罪，给他们伸冤。
