1. Behold now, this city is near to flee unto, and it is a little one: Oh, let me escape thither, (is it not a little one?) and my soul shall live.
看哪，这座城又小又近，容易逃到，这不是一个小的吗。求你容我逃到那里，我的性命就得存活。

2. And the LORD came down upon mount Sinai, on the top of the mount: and the LORD called Moses up to the top of the mount; and Moses went up.
耶和华降临在西奈山顶上，耶和华召摩西上山顶，摩西就上去。

3. And whosoever lieth carnally with a woman, that is a bondmaid, betrothed to an husband, and not at all redeemed, nor freedom given her; she shall be scourged; they shall not be put to death, because she was not free.
婢女许配了丈夫，还没有被赎得释放，人若与她行淫，二人要受刑罚，却不把他们治死，因为婢女还没有得自由。

4. But the man that shall be unclean, and shall not purify himself, that soul shall be cut off from among the congregation, because he hath defiled the sanctuary of the LORD: the water of separation hath not been sprinkled upon him; he is unclean.
但那污秽而不洁净自己的，要将他从会中剪除，因为他玷污了耶和华的圣所。除污秽的水没有洒在他身上，他是不洁净的。

5. And those which remain shall hear, and fear, and shall henceforth commit no more any such evil among you.
别人听见都要害怕，就不敢在你们中间再行这样的恶了。

6. And Rabbith, and Kishion, and Abez,
拉璧，基善，亚别，

7. And the old man said, Peace be with thee; howsoever let all thy wants lie upon me; only lodge not in the street.
老年人说，愿你平安。你所需用的我都给你，只是不可在街上过夜。

8. And Saul sent messengers to take David: and when they saw the company of the prophets prophesying, and Samuel standing as appointed over them, the Spirit of God was upon the messengers of Saul, and they also prophesied.
扫罗打发人去捉拿大卫。去的人见有一班先知都受感说话，撒母耳站在其中监管他们。打发去的人也受神的灵感动说话。

9. For thy servant doth know that I have sinned: therefore, behold, I am come the first this day of all the house of Joseph to go down to meet my lord the king.
仆人明知自己有罪，所以约瑟全家之中，今日我首先下来迎接我主我王。

10. And he left the oxen, and ran after Elijah, and said, Let me, I pray thee, kiss my father and my mother, and then I will follow thee. And he said unto him, Go back again: for what have I done to thee?
以利沙就离开牛，跑到以利亚那里，说，求你容我先与父母亲嘴，然后我便跟随你。以利亚对他说，你回去吧，我向你作了什么呢。

11. Then Isaiah the son of Amoz sent to Hezekiah, saying, Thus saith the LORD God of Israel, That which thou hast prayed to me against Sennacherib king of Assyria I have heard.
亚摩斯的儿子以赛亚就打发人去见希西家，说，耶和华以色列的神如此说，你既然求我攻击亚述王西拿基立，我已听见了。

12. My bone cleaveth to my skin and to my flesh, and I am escaped with the skin of my teeth.
我的皮肉紧贴骨头。我只剩牙皮逃脱了。

13. Hear counsel, and receive instruction, that thou mayest be wise in thy latter end.
你要听劝教，受训诲，使你终久有智慧。

14. And it shall be for a sign and for a witness unto the LORD of hosts in the land of Egypt: for they shall cry unto the LORD because of the oppressors, and he shall send them a saviour, and a great one, and he shall deliver them.
这都要在埃及地为万军之耶和华作记号和证据。埃及人因为受人的欺压哀求耶和华，他就差遣一位救主，作护卫者，拯救他们。

15. The young man saith unto him, All these things have I kept from my youth up: what lack I yet?
那少年人说，这一切我都遵守了。还缺少什么呢。

16. And another came, saying, Lord, behold, here is thy pound, which I have kept laid up in a napkin:
又有一个来说，主阿，看哪，你的一锭银子在这里，我把他包在手巾里存着。

17. This title then read many of the Jews: for the place where Jesus was crucified was nigh to the city: and it was written in Hebrew, and Greek, and Latin.
有许多犹太人念这名号。因为耶稣被钉十字架的地方，与城相近，并且是用希伯来，罗马，希腊，三样文字写的。

18. So mightily grew the word of God and prevailed.
主的道大大兴旺而且得胜，就是这样。

19. And the beast was taken, and with him the false prophet that wrought miracles before him, with which he deceived them that had received the mark of the beast, and them that worshipped his image. These both were cast alive into a lake of fire burning with brimstone.
那兽被擒拿，那在兽面前曾行奇事，迷惑受兽印记，和拜兽像之人的假先知，也与兽同被擒拿。他们两个就活活的被扔在烧着硫磺的火湖里。
