1. Then the LORD rained upon Sodom and upon Gomorrah brimstone and fire from the LORD out of heaven;
当时,耶和华将硫磺与火从天上耶和华那里降与所多玛和蛾摩拉,

2. And the LORD said unto him, Away, get thee down, and thou shalt come up, thou, and Aaron with thee: but let not the priests and the people break through to come up unto the LORD, lest he break forth upon them.
耶和华对他说,下去吧,你要和亚伦一同上来,只是祭司和百姓不可闯过来上到我面前,恐怕我忽然出来击杀他们。

3. But in the fourth year all the fruit thereof shall be holy to praise the LORD withal.
但第四年所结的果子全要成为圣,用以赞美耶和华。

4. And the fifth lot came out for the tribe of the children of Asher according to their families.
为亚设支派,按着宗族,拈出第五阄。

5. Behold, here is my daughter a maiden, and his concubine; them I will bring out now, and humble ye them, and do with them what seemeth good unto you: but unto this man do not so vile a thing.
我有个女儿,还是处女,并有这人的妾,我将她们领出来任凭你们玷辱她们,只是向这人不可行这样的丑事。

6. And he stripped off his clothes also, and prophesied before Samuel in like manner, and lay down naked all that day and all that night. Wherefore they say, Is Saul also among the prophets?
他就脱了衣服,在撒母耳面前受感说话,一昼一夜露体躺卧。因此有句俗语说,扫罗也列在先知中吗。

7. And Mephibosheth the son of Saul came down to meet the king, and had neither dressed his feet, nor trimmed his beard, nor washed his clothes, from the day the king departed until the day he came again in peace.
扫罗的孙子米非波设也下去迎接王。他自从王去的日子,直到王平平安安地回来,没有修脚,没有剃胡须,也没有洗衣服。

8. I have digged and drunk strange waters, and with the sole of my feet have I dried up all the rivers of besieged places.
我已经在外邦挖井喝水。我必用脚掌踏乾埃及的一切河。

9. That they were graven with an iron pen and lead in the rock for ever!
用铁笔镌刻,用铅灌在磐石上,直存到永远。

10. A slothful man hideth his hand in his bosom, and will not so much as bring it to his mouth again.
懒惰人放手在盘子里。就是向口撤回,他也不肯。

11. In that day shall Israel be the third with Egypt and with Assyria, even a blessing in the midst of the land:
当那日以色列必与埃及亚述三国一律,使地上的人得福。

12. And again I say unto you, It is easier for a camel to go through the eye of a needle, than for a rich man to enter into the kingdom of God.
我又告诉你们,骆驼穿过针的眼,比财主进神的国还容易呢。

13. And he said unto them that stood by, Take from him the pound, and give it to him that hath ten pounds.
就对旁边站着的人说,夺过他这一锭来,给那有十锭的。

14. They said therefore among themselves, Let us not rend it, but cast lots for it, whose it shall be: that the scripture might be fulfilled, which saith, They parted my raiment among them, and for my vesture they did cast lots. These things therefore the soldiers did.
他们就彼此说,我们不要撕开,只要拈阄,看谁得着。这要应验经上的话说,他们分了我的外衣,为我的里衣拈阄。兵丁果然作了这事。

15. For a certain man named Demetrius, a silversmith, which made silver shrines for Diana, brought no small gain unto the craftsmen;
有一个银匠,名叫底米丢,是制造亚底米神银龛的,他使这样手艺人生意发达。
