1. But his wife looked back from behind him, and she became a pillar of salt.
罗得的妻子在后边回头一看,就变成了一根盐柱。

2. Ye shall not eat any thing with the blood: neither shall ye use enchantment, nor observe times.
你们不可吃带血的物,不可用法术,也不可观兆。

3. And Alammelech, and Amad, and Misheal; and reacheth to Carmel westward, and to Shihorlibnath;
亚拉米勒,亚末,米沙勒。往西达到迦密,又到希曷立纳,

4. Then came the woman in the dawning of the day, and fell down at the door of the man's house where her lord was, till it was light.
天快亮的时候,妇人回到她主人住宿的房门前,就仆倒在地,直到天亮。

5. And he answered, My lord, O king, my servant deceived me: for thy servant said, I will saddle me an ass, that I may ride thereon, and go to the king; because thy servant is lame.
他回答说,我主我王,仆人是瘸腿的。那日我想要备驴骑上,与王同去,无奈我的仆人欺哄了我,

6. Therefore their inhabitants were of small power, they were dismayed and confounded; they were as the grass of the field, and as the green herb, as the grass on the house tops, and as corn blasted before it be grown up.
所以其中的居民力量甚小,惊惶羞愧。他们像野草,像青菜,如房顶上的草,又如未长成而枯乾的禾稼。

7. And though after my skin worms destroy this body, yet in my flesh shall I see God:
我这皮肉灭绝之后,我必在肉体之外得见神。

8. He that wasteth his father, and chaseth away his mother, is a son that causeth shame, and bringeth reproach.
虐待父亲,撵出母亲的,是贻羞致辱之子。

9. But Jesus beheld them, and said unto them, With men this is impossible; but with God all things are possible.
耶稣看着他们说,在人这是不能的。在神凡事都能。

10. For I say unto you, That unto every one which hath shall be given; and from him that hath not, even that he hath shall be taken away from him.
主人说,我告诉你们,凡有的,还要加给他。没有的,连他所有的,也要夺过来。

11. When Jesus therefore saw his mother, and the disciple standing by, whom he loved, he saith unto his mother, Woman, behold thy son!
耶稣见母亲和他所爱的那个门徒站在旁边,就对他说,母亲,(原文作妇人)看你的儿子。

12. Moreover ye see and hear, that not alone at Ephesus, but almost throughout all Asia, this Paul hath persuaded and turned away much people, saying that they be no gods, which are made with hands:
这保罗不但在以弗所,也几乎在亚细亚全地,引诱迷惑许多人,说,人手所作的不是神,这是你们所看见所听见的。
