1. And Abraham gat up early in the morning to the place where he stood before the LORD:
亚伯拉罕清早起来，到了他从前删在耶和华面前的地方，

2. Ye shall not round the corners of your heads, neither shalt thou mar the corners of thy beard.
头的周围（周围或作两鬓）不可剃，胡须的周围也不可损坏。

3. And turneth toward the sunrising to Bethdagon, and reacheth to Zebulun, and to the valley of Jiphthahel toward the north side of Bethemek, and Neiel, and goeth out to Cabul on the left hand,
转向日出之地，到伯大衮，达到细步纶往北到伊攻他伊勒谷，到伯以墨和尼业，也通到迦步勒的左边。

4. And her lord rose up in the morning, and opened the doors of the house, and went out to go his way: and, behold, the woman his concubine was fallen down at the door of the house, and her hands were upon the threshold.
早晨，她的主人起来开了房门，出去要行路，不料那妇人仆倒在房门前，两手搭在门槛上。

5. And he hath slandered thy servant unto my lord the king; but my lord the king is as an angel of God: do therefore what is good in thine eyes.
又在我主我王面前谗毁我。然而我主我王如同神的使者一般，你看怎样好，就怎样行吧。

6. But I know thy abode, and thy going out, and thy coming in, and thy rage against me.
你坐下，你出去，你进来，你向我发烈怒，我都知道。

7. Whom I shall see for myself, and mine eyes shall behold, and not another; though my reins be consumed within me.
我自己要见他，亲眼要看他，并不像外人。我的心肠在我里面消灭了。

8. Cease, my son, to hear the instruction that causeth to err from the words of knowledge.
我儿，不可听了教训，而又偏离知识的言语。

9. Then answered Peter and said unto him, Behold, we have forsaken all, and followed thee; what shall we have therefore?
彼得就对他说，看哪，我们已经撇下所有的跟从你，将来我们要得什么呢。

10. But those mine enemies, which would not that I should reign over them, bring hither, and slay them before me.
至于我那些仇敌不要我作他们王的，把他们拉来，在我面前杀了吧。

11. Then saith he to the disciple, Behold thy mother! And from that hour that disciple took her unto his own home.
又对那门徒说，看你的母亲。从此那门徒就接他到自己家里去了。

12. So that not only this our craft is in danger to be set at nought; but also that the temple of the great goddess Diana should be despised, and her magnificence should be destroyed, whom all Asia and the world worshippeth.
这样，不独我们这事业，被人藐视，就是大女神亚底米的庙，也要被人轻忽，连亚细亚全地，和普天下，所敬拜的大女神之威荣，也要销灭了。
