1. Come, let us make our father drink wine, and we will lie with him, that we may preserve seed of our father.
来，我们可以叫父亲喝酒，与他同寝。这样，我们好从他存留后裔。

2. Thou shalt rise up before the hoary head, and honour the face of the old man, and fear thy God: I am the LORD.
在白发的人面前，你要站起来，也要尊敬老人，又要敬畏你的神。我是耶和华。

3. The sixth lot came out to the children of Naphtali, even for the children of Naphtali according to their families.
为拿弗他利人，按着宗族，拈出第六阄。

4. Now Barzillai was a very aged man, even fourscore years old: and he had provided the king of sustenance while he lay at Mahanaim; for he was a very great man.
巴西莱年纪老迈，已经八十岁了。王住在玛哈念的时候，他就拿食物来供给王。他原是大富户。

5. Therefore thus saith the LORD concerning the king of Assyria, He shall not come into this city, nor shoot an arrow there, nor come before it with shield, nor cast a bank against it.
所以，耶和华论亚述王如此说，他必不得来到这城，也不在这里射箭，不得拿盾牌到城前，也不筑垒攻城。

6. And they that were sent went their way, and found even as he had said unto them.
打发的人去了，所遇见的，正如耶稣所说的。

7. Then came the soldiers, and brake the legs of the first, and of the other which was crucified with him.
于是兵丁来，把头一个的腿，并与耶稣同钉第二个人的腿，都打断了。

8. Some therefore cried one thing, and some another: for the assembly was confused; and the more part knew not wherefore they were come together.
聚集的人，纷纷乱乱，有喊叫这个的，有喊叫那个的，大半不知道为什么聚集。
