1. And said, I pray you, brethren, do not so wickedly.
说，众弟兄，请你们不要作这恶事。

2. And Moses came and called for the elders of the people, and laid before their faces all these words which the LORD commanded him.
摩西去召了民间的长老来，将耶和华所吩咐他的话都在他们面前陈明。

3. And if it be eaten at all on the third day, it is abominable; it shall not be accepted.
第三天若再吃，这就为可憎恶的，必不蒙悦纳。

4. Then the priest shall wash his clothes, and he shall bathe his flesh in water, and afterward he shall come into the camp, and the priest shall be unclean until the even.
祭司必不洁净到晚上，要洗衣服，用水洗身，然后可以进营。

5. Wherefore I command thee, saying, Thou shalt separate three cities for thee.
所以我吩咐你说，要分定三座城。

6. Ain, Remmon, and Ether, and Ashan; four cities and their villages:
又有亚因，利门，以帖，亚珊，共四座城，还有属城的村庄。

7. And when the man rose up to depart, his father in law urged him: therefore he lodged there again.
那人起来要走，他岳父强留他，他又住了一宿。

8. And Jonathan called David, and Jonathan shewed him all those things. And Jonathan brought David to Saul, and he was in his presence, as in times past.
约拿单叫大卫来，把这一切事告诉他，带他去见扫罗。他就仍然侍立在扫罗面前。

9. Now therefore arise, go forth, and speak comfortably unto thy servants: for I swear by the LORD, if thou go not forth, there will not tarry one with thee this night: and that will be worse unto thee than all the evil that befell thee from thy youth until now.
现在你当出去，安慰你仆人的心。我指着耶和华起誓，你若不出去，今夜必无一人与你同在一处。这祸患就比你从幼年到如今所遭的更甚。

10. And the angel of the LORD came again the second time, and touched him, and said, Arise and eat; because the journey is too great for thee.
耶和华的使者第二次来拍他，说，起来吃吧。因为你当走的路甚远。

11. Behold, I will send a blast upon him, and he shall hear a rumour, and shall return to his own land; and I will cause him to fall by the sword in his own land.
我必惊动（原文作使灵进入）他的心，他要听见风声就归回本地。我必使他在那里倒在刀下。

12. So they hired thirty and two thousand chariots, and the king of Maachah and his people; who came and pitched before Medeba. And the children of Ammon gathered themselves together from their cities, and came to battle.
于是雇了三万二千辆战车和玛迦王并他的军兵。他们来安营在米底巴前。亚扪人也从他们的城里出来，聚集交战。

13. Wherefore now let the fear of the LORD be upon you; take heed and do it: for there is no iniquity with the LORD our God, nor respect of persons, nor taking of gifts.
现在你们应当敬畏耶和华，谨慎办事。因为耶和华我们的神没有不义，不偏待人，也不受贿赂。

14. Behold, I cry out of wrong, but I am not heard: I cry aloud, but there is no judgment.
我因委曲呼叫，却不蒙应允。我呼求，却不得公断。

15. The law of the LORD is perfect, converting the soul: the testimony of the LORD is sure, making wise the simple.
耶和华的律法全备，能苏醒人心。耶和华的法度确定，能使愚人有智慧。

16. All the brethren of the poor do hate him: how much more do his friends go far from him? he pursueth them with words, yet they are wanting to him.
贫穷人弟兄都恨他，何况他的朋友，更远离他。他用言语追随，他们却走了。

17. The paper reeds by the brooks, by the mouth of the brooks, and every thing sown by the brooks, shall wither, be driven away, and be no more.
靠尼罗河旁的草田，并沿尼罗河所种的田，都必枯乾，庄稼被风吹去，归于无有。

18. And I will make void the counsel of Judah and Jerusalem in this place; and I will cause them to fall by the sword before their enemies, and by the hands of them that seek their lives: and their carcases will I give to be meat for the fowls of the heaven, and for the beasts of the earth.
我必在这地方使犹大和耶路撒冷的计谋落空，也必使他们在仇敌面前倒于刀下，并寻索其命的人手下。他们的尸首，我必给空中的飞鸟和地上的野兽作食物。

19. And he knew their desolate palaces, and he laid waste their cities; and the land was desolate, and the fulness thereof, by the noise of his roaring.
它知道列国的宫殿，又使他们的城邑变为荒场。因它咆哮的声音，遍地和其中所有的就都荒废。

20. They say unto him, Why did Moses then command to give a writing of divorcement, and to put her away?
法利赛人说，这样，摩西为什么吩咐给妻子休书，就可以休他呢。

21. And when they saw it, they all murmured, saying, That he was gone to be guest with a man that is a sinner.
众人看见，都私下议论说，他竟到罪人家里去住宿。

22. The Jews answered him, We have a law, and by our law he ought to die, because he made himself the Son of God.
犹太人回答说，我们有律法，按那律法，他是该死的，因他以自己为神的儿子。

23. And all the men were about twelve.
一共约有十二个人。

24. Let us be glad and rejoice, and give honour to him: for the marriage of the Lamb is come, and his wife hath made herself ready.
我们要欢喜快乐，将荣耀归给他。因为羔羊婚娶的时候到了，新妇也自己豫备好了。
