1. And the thing was very grievous in Abraham's sight because of his son.
亚伯拉罕因他儿子的缘故很忧愁。

2. And if he do not these three unto her, then shall she go out free without money.
若不向她行这三样,她就可以不用钱赎,白白地出去。

3. Neither shall he go in to any dead body, nor defile himself for his father, or for his mother;
不可挨近死尸,也不可为父母沾染自己。

4. And they journeyed from Oboth, and pitched at Ijeabarim, in the wilderness which is before Moab, toward the sunrising.
又从阿伯起行,安营在以耶亚巴琳,与摩押相对的旷野,向日出之地。

5. And seest among the captives a beautiful woman, and hast a desire unto her, that thou wouldest have her to thy wife;
若在被掳的人中见有美貌的女子,恋慕她,要娶她为妻,

6. And they gave them the city of Arba the father of Anak, which city is Hebron, in the hill country of Judah, with the suburbs thereof round about it.
将犹大山地的基列亚巴和四围的郊野给了他们。亚巴是亚衲族的始祖。(基列亚巴就是希伯仑)。

7. And this is the thing that ye shall do, Ye shall utterly destroy every male, and every woman that hath lain by man.
所当行的就是这样,要将一切男子和已嫁的女子尽行杀戮。

8. And the servants of Achish said unto him, Is not this David the king of the land? did they not sing one to another of him in dances, saying, Saul hath slain his thousands, and David his ten thousands?
亚吉的臣仆对亚吉说,这不是以色列国王大卫吗。那里的妇女跳舞唱和,不是指着他说扫罗杀死千千,大卫杀死万万吗。

9. And it was told David what Rizpah the daughter of Aiah, the concubine of Saul, had done.
有人将扫罗的妃嫔爱雅女儿利斯巴所行的这事告诉大卫。

10. And the men of his city, even the elders and the nobles who were the inhabitants in his city, did as Jezebel had sent unto them, and as it was written in the letters which she had sent unto them.
那些与拿伯同城居住的长老贵胄得了耶洗别的信,就照信而行,

11. Because Manasseh king of Judah hath done these abominations, and hath done wickedly above all that the Amorites did, which were before him, and hath made Judah also to sin with his idols:
因犹大王玛拿西行这些可憎的恶事比先前亚摩利人所行的更甚,使犹大人拜他的偶像,陷在罪里。

12. So Gad came to David, and said unto him, Thus saith the LORD, Choose thee
于是,迦得来见大卫,对他说,耶和华如此说,你可以随意选择,

13. Moreover he made high places in the mountains of Judah, and caused the inhabitants of Jerusalem to commit fornication, and compelled Judah thereto.
他又在犹大诸山建筑邱坛,使耶路撒冷的居民行邪淫,诱惑犹大人。

14. They send forth their little ones like a flock, and their children dance.
他们打发小孩子出去,多如羊群。他们的儿女踊跃跳舞。

15. For they intended evil against thee: they imagined a mischievous device, which they are not able to perform.
因为他们有意加害于你。他们想出计谋,却不能作成。

16. When the scorner is punished, the simple is made wise: and when the wise is instructed, he receiveth knowledge.
亵慢的人受刑罚,愚蒙的人就得智慧。智慧人受训诲,便得知识。

17. The burden of Dumah. He calleth to me out of Seir, Watchman, what of the night? Watchman, what of the night?
论度玛的默示。有人声从西珥呼问我,说,守望的阿,夜里如何。守望的阿,夜里如何。

18. And touching the house of the king of Judah, say, Hear ye the word of the LORD;
至于犹大王的家,你们当听耶和华的话。

19. And he hath given it to be furbished, that it may be handled: this sword is sharpened, and it is furbished, to give it into the hand of the slayer.
这刀已经交给人擦亮,为要应手使用。这刀已经磨快擦亮,好交在行杀戮的人手中。

20. And the multitude said, This is Jesus the prophet of Nazareth of Galilee.
众人说,这是加利利拿撒勒的先知耶稣。

21. And great earthquakes shall be in divers places, and famines, and pestilences; and fearful sights and great signs shall there be from heaven.
地要大大震动,多处必有饥荒瘟疫。又有可怕的异象,和大神迹,从天上显现。

22. Simon Peter went up, and drew the net to land full of great fishes, an hundred and fifty and three: and for all there were so many, yet was not the net broken.
西门彼得就去,(或作上船)把网拉到岸上,那网满了大鱼,共一百五十三条。鱼虽这样多,网却没有破。

23. And when he was come unto us, he took Paul's girdle, and bound his own hands and feet, and said, Thus saith the Holy Ghost, So shall the Jews at Jerusalem bind the man that owneth this girdle, and shall deliver him into the hands of the Gentiles.
到了我们这里,就拿保罗的腰带,捆上自己的手脚,说,圣灵说,犹太人在耶路撒冷,要如此捆绑这腰带的主人,把他交给外邦人手里。

24. Having the glory of God: and her light was like unto a stone most precious, even like a jasper stone, clear as crystal;
城中有神的荣耀。城的光辉如同极贵的宝石,好像碧玉,明如水晶。
