1. And God said unto Abraham, Let it not be grievous in thy sight because of the lad, and because of thy bondwoman; in all that Sarah hath said unto thee, hearken unto her voice; for in Isaac shall thy seed be called.
神对亚伯拉罕说,你不必为这童子和你的使女忧愁。凡撒拉对你说的话,你都该听从。因为从以撒生的,才要称为你的后裔。

2. He that smiteth a man, so that he die, shall be surely put to death.
打人以致打死的,必要把他治死。

3. Neither shall he go out of the sanctuary, nor profane the sanctuary of his God; for the crown of the anointing oil of his God is upon him: I am the LORD.
不可出圣所,也不可亵渎神的圣所,因为神膏油的冠冕在他头上。我是耶和华。

4. From thence they removed, and pitched in the valley of Zared.
从那里起行,安营在撒烈谷。

5. Then thou shalt bring her home to thine house; and she shall shave her head, and pare her nails;
就可以领她到你家里去。她便要剃头发,修指甲,

6. But the fields of the city, and the villages thereof, gave they to Caleb the son of Jephunneh for his possession.
惟将属城的田地和村庄给了耶孚尼的儿子迦勒为业。

7. And they found among the inhabitants of Jabeshgilead four hundred young virgins, that had known no man by lying with any male: and they brought them unto the camp to Shiloh, which is in the land of Canaan.
他们在基列雅比人中,遇见了四百个未嫁的处女,就带到迦南地的示罗营里。

8. And David laid up these words in his heart, and was sore afraid of Achish the king of Gath.
大卫将这话放在心里,甚惧怕迦特王亚吉,

9. And David went and took the bones of Saul and the bones of Jonathan his son from the men of Jabeshgilead, which had stolen them from the street of Bethshan, where the Philistines had hanged them, when the Philistines had slain Saul in Gilboa:
大卫就去,从基列雅比人那里将扫罗和他儿子约拿单的骸骨搬了来。是因非利士人从前在基利波杀扫罗,将尸身悬挂在伯珊的街市上,基列雅比人把尸身偷了去。

10. They proclaimed a fast, and set Naboth on high among the people.
宣告禁食,叫拿伯坐在民间的高位上。

11. Therefore thus saith the LORD God of Israel, Behold, I am bringing such evil upon Jerusalem and Judah, that whosoever heareth of it, both his ears shall tingle.
所以耶和华以色列的神如此说,我必降祸与耶路撒冷和犹大,叫一切听见的人无不耳呜。

12. Either three years' famine; or three months to be destroyed before thy foes, while that the sword of thine enemies overtaketh thee; or else three days the sword of the LORD, even the pestilence, in the land, and the angel of the LORD destroying throughout all the coasts of Israel. Now therefore advise thyself what word I shall bring again to him that sent me.
或三年的饥荒。或败在你敌人面前,被敌人的刀追杀三个月。或在你国中有耶和华的刀,就是三日的瘟疫,耶和华的使者在以色列的四境施行毁灭。现在你要想一想,我好回覆那差我来的。

13. And there came a writing to him from Elijah the prophet, saying, Thus saith the LORD God of David thy father, Because thou hast not walked in the ways of Jehoshaphat thy father, nor in the ways of Asa king of Judah,
先知以利亚达信与约兰说,耶和华你祖大卫的神如此说,因为你不行你父约沙法和犹大王亚撒的道,

14. They take the timbrel and harp, and rejoice at the sound of the organ.
他们随着琴鼓歌唱,又因箫声欢喜。

15. Therefore shalt thou make them turn their back, when thou shalt make ready thine arrows upon thy strings against the face of them.
你必使他们转背逃跑,向他们的脸搭箭在弦。

16. The righteous man wisely considereth the house of the wicked: but God overthroweth the wicked for their wickedness.
义人思想恶人的家,知道恶人倾倒,必至灭亡。

17. The watchman said, The morning cometh, and also the night: if ye will enquire, enquire ye: return, come.
守望的说,早晨将到,黑夜也来。你们若要问,就可以问,可以回头再来。

18. O house of David, thus saith the LORD; Execute judgment in the morning, and deliver him that is spoiled out of the hand of the oppressor, lest my fury go out like fire, and burn that none can quench it, because of the evil of your doings.
大卫家阿,耶和华如此说,你们每早晨要施行公平,拯救被抢夺的脱离欺压人的手,恐怕我的忿怒因你们的恶行发作,如火着起,甚至无人能以熄灭。

19. Cry and howl, son of man: for it shall be upon my people, it shall be upon all the princes of Israel: terrors by reason of the sword shall be upon my people: smite therefore upon thy thigh.
人子阿,你要呼喊哀号,因为这刀临到我的百姓和以色列一切的首领。他们和我的百姓都交在刀下,所以你要拍腿叹息。

20. And Jesus went into the temple of God, and cast out all them that sold and bought in the temple, and overthrew the tables of the moneychangers, and the seats of them that sold doves,
耶稣进了神的殿,赶出殿里一切作买卖的人,推倒兑换银钱之人的桌子,和卖鸽子之人的凳子。

21. But before all these, they shall lay their hands on you, and persecute you, delivering you up to the synagogues, and into prisons, being brought before kings and rulers for my name's sake.
但这一切的事以先,人要下手拿住你们,逼迫你们,把你们交给会堂,并且收在监里,又为我的名拉你们到君王诸侯面前。

22. Jesus saith unto them, Come and dine. And none of the disciples durst ask him, Who art thou? knowing that it was the Lord.
耶稣说,你们来吃早饭。门徒中没有一个敢问他,你是谁,因为知道是主。

23. And when we heard these things, both we, and they of that place, besought him not to go up to Jerusalem.
我们和那本地的人,听见这话,都苦劝保罗不要上耶路撒冷去。

24. And had a wall great and high, and had twelve gates, and at the gates twelve angels, and names written thereon, which are the names of the twelve tribes of the children of Israel:
有高大的墙。有十二个门,门上有十二位天使。门上又写着以色列十二个支派的名字。
