1. And the water was spent in the bottle, and she cast the child under one of the shrubs.
皮袋的水用尽了，夏甲就把孩子撇在小树底下，

2. And he that smiteth his father, or his mother, shall be surely put to death.
打父母的，必要把他治死。

3. Neither shall he profane his seed among his people: for I the LORD do sanctify him.
不可在民中辱没他的儿女，因为我是叫他成圣的耶和华。

4. And at the stream of the brooks that goeth down to the dwelling of Ar, and lieth upon the border of Moab.
并向亚珥城众谷的下坡，是靠近摩押的境界。

5. If a man have two wives, one beloved, and another hated, and they have born him children, both the beloved and the hated; and if the firstborn son be hers that was hated:
人若有二妻，一为所爱，一为所恶，所爱的，所恶的都给他生了儿子，但长子是所恶之妻生的。

6. And Holon with her suburbs, and Debir with her suburbs,
何仑和属城的郊野，底璧和属城的郊野，

7. And the people repented them for Benjamin, because that the LORD had made a breach in the tribes of Israel.
百姓为便雅悯人后悔，因为耶和华使以色列人缺了一个支派（原文作使以色列中有了破口）。

8. Have I need of mad men, that ye have brought this fellow to play the mad man in my presence? shall this fellow come into my house?
我岂缺少疯子，你们带这人来在我面前疯癫吗。这人岂可进我的家呢。

9. Moreover the Philistines had yet war again with Israel; and David went down, and his servants with him, and fought against the Philistines: and David waxed faint.
非利士人与以色列人打仗。大卫带领仆人下去，与非利士人接战，大卫就疲乏了。

10. And it came to pass, when Jezebel heard that Naboth was stoned, and was dead, that Jezebel said to Ahab, Arise, take possession of the vineyard of Naboth the Jezreelite, which he refused to give thee for money: for Naboth is not alive, but dead.
耶洗别听见拿伯被石头打死，就对亚哈说，你起来得耶斯列人拿伯不肯为价银给你的葡萄园吧。现在他已经死了。

11. Because they have done that which was evil in my sight, and have provoked me to anger, since the day their fathers came forth out of Egypt, even unto this day.
是因他们自从列祖出埃及直到如今，常行我眼中看为恶的事，惹动我的怒气。

12. And God sent an angel unto Jerusalem to destroy it: and as he was destroying, the LORD beheld, and he repented him of the evil, and said to the angel that destroyed, It is enough, stay now thine hand. And the angel of the LORD stood by the threshingfloor of Ornan the Jebusite.
神差遣使者去灭耶路撒冷，刚要灭的时候，耶和华看见后悔，就不降这灾了，吩咐灭城的天使说，够了，住手吧。那时，耶和华的使者站在耶布斯人阿珥楠的禾场那里。

13. And thou shalt have great sickness by disease of thy bowels, until thy bowels fall out by reason of the sickness day by day.
你的肠子必患病，日加沉重，以致你的肠子坠落下来。

14. What is the Almighty, that we should serve him? and what profit should we have, if we pray unto him?
全能者是谁，我们何必事奉他呢。求告他有什么益处呢。

15. It is joy to the just to do judgment: but destruction shall be to the workers of iniquity.
秉公行义，使义人喜乐，使作孽的人败坏。

16. For they fled from the swords, from the drawn sword, and from the bent bow, and from the grievousness of war.
因为他们逃避刀剑，和出了鞘的刀，并上了弦的弓，与刀兵的重灾。

17. I have set the point of the sword against all their gates, that their heart may faint, and their ruins be multiplied: ah! it is made bright, it is wrapped up for the slaughter.
我设立这恐吓人的刀，攻击他们的一切城门，使他们的心消化，加增他们跌倒的事。哎。这刀造得像闪电，磨得尖利，要行杀戮。

18. And when the chief priests and scribes saw the wonderful things that he did, and the children crying in the temple, and saying, Hosanna to the son of David; they were sore displeased,
祭司长和文士，看见耶稣所行的奇事，又见小孩子在殿里喊着说，和散那归于大卫的子孙。就甚恼怒，

19. For I will give you a mouth and wisdom, which all your adversaries shall not be able to gainsay nor resist.
因为我必赐你们口才智慧，是你们一切敌人所敌不住，驳不倒的。

20. So when they had dined, Jesus saith to Simon Peter, Simon, son of Jonas, lovest thou me more than these? He saith unto him, Yea, Lord; thou knowest that I love thee. He saith unto him, Feed my lambs.
他们吃完了早饭，耶稣对西门彼得说，约翰的儿子西门，（约翰马太十六章十七节称约拿）你爱我比这些更深吗。彼得说，主阿，是的。你知道我爱你。耶稣对他说，你喂养我的小羊。

21. And after those days we took up our carriages, and went up to Jerusalem.
过了几日，我们收拾行李上耶路撒冷去。

22. And he that talked with me had a golden reed to measure the city, and the gates thereof, and the wall thereof.
对我说话的拿着金苇子当尺，要量那城，和城门城墙。
