1. And Abimelech said, I wot not who hath done this thing: neither didst thou tell me, neither yet heard I of it, but to day.
亚比米勒说，谁作这事，我不知道，你也没有告诉我，今日我才听见了。

2. And if a man smite the eye of his servant, or the eye of his maid, that it perish; he shall let him go free for his eye's sake.
人若打坏了他奴仆或是婢女的一只眼，就要因他的眼放他去得以自由。

3. For Heshbon was the city of Sihon the king of the Amorites, who had fought against the former king of Moab, and taken all his land out of his hand, even unto Arnon.
这希实本是亚摩利王西宏的京城。西宏曾与摩押的先王争战，从他手中夺取了全地，直到亚嫩河。

4. All the cities were ten with their suburbs for the families of the children of Kohath that remained.
哥辖其馀的子孙共有十座城，还有属城的郊野。

5. And he did very abominably in following idols, according to all things as did the Amorites, whom the LORD cast out before the children of Israel.
就照耶和华在以色列人面前所赶出的亚摩利人，行了最可憎恶的事，信从偶像。）

6. And he was buried in his sepulchre in the garden of Uzza: and Josiah his son reigned in his stead.
亚们葬在乌撒的园内自己的坟墓里。他儿子约西亚接续他作王。

7. And David built there an altar unto the LORD, and offered burnt offerings and peace offerings, and called upon the LORD; and he answered him from heaven by fire upon the altar of burnt offering.
大卫在那里为耶和华筑了一座坛，献燔祭和平安祭，求告耶和华。耶和华就应允他，使火从天降在燔祭坛上。

8. They shall lie down alike in the dust, and the worms shall cover them.
他们一样躺卧在尘土中，都被虫子遮盖。

9. He coveteth greedily all the day long: but the righteous giveth and spareth not.
有终日贪得无厌的，义人施舍而不吝惜。

10. Thus saith the Lord GOD; Remove the diadem, and take off the crown: this shall not be the same: exalt him that is low, and abase him that is high.
主耶和华如此说，当除掉冠，摘下冕，景况必不再像先前。要使卑蛇升为高，使高者降为卑。

11. But if we shall say, Of men; we fear the people; for all hold John as a prophet.
若说从人间来，我们又怕百姓。因为他们都以约翰为先知。

12. Men's hearts failing them for fear, and for looking after those things which are coming on the earth: for the powers of heaven shall be shaken.
天势都要震动。人想起那将要临到世界的事，就都吓得魂不附体。

13. Then Paul took the men, and the next day purifying himself with them entered into the temple, to signify the accomplishment of the days of purification, until that an offering should be offered for every one of them.
于是保罗带着那四个人，第二天与他们一同行了洁净的礼，进了殿，报明洁净的日期满足。只等祭司为他们各人献祭。

14. And they shall bring the glory and honour of the nations into it.
人必将列国的荣耀尊贵归与那城。
