1. Wherefore he called that place Beersheba; because there they sware both of them.
所以他给那地方起名叫别是巴（就是盟誓的井），因为他们二人在那里起了誓。

2. Whether he have gored a son, or have gored a daughter, according to this judgment shall it be done unto him.
牛无论触了人的儿子或是女儿，必照这例办理。

3. Thus Israel dwelt in the land of the Amorites.
这样，以色列人就住在亚摩利人之地。

4. Helkath with her suburbs, and Rehob with her suburbs; four cities.
黑甲和属城的郊野，利合和属城的郊野，共四座城。

5. Then David said, This is the house of the LORD God, and this is the altar of the burnt offering for Israel.
大卫说，这就是耶和华神的殿，为以色列人献燔祭的坛。

6. Who shall declare his way to his face? and who shall repay him what he hath done?
他所行的，有谁当面给他说明。他所做的，有谁报应他呢。

7. The horse is prepared against the day of battle: but safety is of the LORD.
马是为打仗之日豫备的。得胜乃在乎耶和华。

8. And I will pour out mine indignation upon thee, I will blow against thee in the fire of my wrath, and deliver thee into the hand of brutish men, and skilful to destroy.
我必将我的恼恨倒在你身上，将我烈怒的火喷在你身上。又将你交在善于杀灭的畜类人手中。

9. Whether of them twain did the will of his father? They say unto him, The first. Jesus saith unto them, Verily I say unto you, That the publicans and the harlots go into the kingdom of God before you.
你们想这两个儿子，是那一个遵行父命呢。他们说，大儿子。耶稣说，我实在告诉你们，税吏和娼妓，倒比你们先进神的国。

10. So likewise ye, when ye see these things come to pass, know ye that the kingdom of God is nigh at hand.
这样，你们看见这些事渐渐的成就，也该晓得神的国近了。

11. And as they went about to kill him, tidings came unto the chief captain of the band, that all Jerusalem was in an uproar.
他们正想要杀他，有人报信给营里的千夫长说，耶路撒冷合城都乱了。
