1. And she said, Who would have said unto Abraham, that Sarah should have given children suck? for I have born him a son in his old age.
又说,谁能预先对亚伯拉罕说撒拉要乳养婴孩呢,因为在他年老的时候,我给他生了一个儿子。

2. And if a man sell his daughter to be a maidservant, she shall not go out as the menservants do.
人若卖女儿作婢女,婢女不可像男仆那样出去。

3. They shall not take a wife that is a whore, or profane; neither shall they take a woman put away from her husband: for he is holy unto his God.
不可娶妓女或被污的女人为妻,也不可娶被休的妇人为妻,因为祭司是归神为圣。

4. Therefore the people came to Moses, and said, We have sinned, for we have spoken against the LORD, and against thee; pray unto the LORD, that he take away the serpents from us. And Moses prayed for the people.
百姓到摩西那里,说,我们怨??耶和华和你,有罪了。求你祷告耶和华,叫这些蛇离开我们。于是摩西为百姓祷告。

5. And they shall answer and say, Our hands have not shed this blood, neither have our eyes seen it.
祷告(原文作回答)说,我们的手未曾流这人的血。我们的眼也未曾看见这事。

6. The children of Merari by their families had out of the tribe of Reuben, and out of the tribe of Gad, and out of the tribe of Zebulun, twelve cities.
米拉利的子孙,按着宗族,从流便支派,迦得支派,西布伦支派的地业中,按阄得了十二座城。

7. How shall we do for wives for them that remain, seeing we have sworn by the LORD that we will not give them of our daughters to wives?
我们既在耶和华面前起誓说,必不将我们的女儿给便雅悯人为妻,现在我们当怎样办理,使他们剩下的人有妻呢。

8. Now a certain man of the servants of Saul was there that day, detained before the LORD; and his name was Doeg, an Edomite, the chiefest of the herdmen that belonged to Saul.
当日有扫罗的一个臣子留在耶和华面前。他名叫多益,是以东人,作扫罗的司牧长。

9. But the king spared Mephibosheth, the son of Jonathan the son of Saul, because of the LORD's oath that was between them, between David and Jonathan the son of Saul.
王因为曾与扫罗的儿子约拿单指着耶和华起誓结盟,就爱惜扫罗的孙子,约拿单的儿子米非波设,不交出来。

10. And Jezebel his wife said unto him, Dost thou now govern the kingdom of Israel? arise, and eat bread, and let thine heart be merry: I will give thee the vineyard of Naboth the Jezreelite.
王后耶洗别对亚哈说,你现在是治理以色列国不是。只管起来,心里畅畅快快地吃饭,我必将耶斯列人拿伯的葡萄园给你。

11. And he set a graven image of the grove that he had made in the house, of which the LORD said to David, and to Solomon his son, In this house, and in Jerusalem, which I have chosen out of all tribes of Israel, will I put my name for ever:
又在殿内立雕刻的亚舍拉像。耶和华曾对大卫和他儿子所罗门说,我在以色列众支派中所选择的耶路撒冷和这殿,必立我的名,直到永远。

12. And God was displeased with this thing; therefore he smote Israel.
神不喜悦这数点百姓的事,便降灾给以色列人。

13. Howbeit the LORD would not destroy the house of David, because of the covenant that he had made with David, and as he promised to give a light to him and to his sons for ever.
耶和华却因自己与大卫所立的约,不肯灭大卫的家,照他所应许的,永远赐灯光与大卫和他的子孙。

14. Wherefore do the wicked live, become old, yea, are mighty in power?
恶人为何存活,享大寿数,势力强盛呢。

15. For the king trusteth in the LORD, and through the mercy of the most High he shall not be moved.
王依靠耶和华,因至高者的慈爱必不摇动。

16. The robbery of the wicked shall destroy them; because they refuse to do judgment.
恶人的强暴,必将自己扫除。因他们不肯按公平行事。

17. And he saw a chariot with a couple of horsemen, a chariot of asses, and a chariot of camels; and he hearkened diligently with much heed:
他看见军队,就是骑马的一对一对的来,又看见驴队,骆驼队,就要侧耳细听。

18. And afterward, saith the LORD, I will deliver Zedekiah king of Judah, and his servants, and the people, and such as are left in this city from the pestilence, from the sword, and from the famine, into the hand of Nebuchadrezzar king of Babylon, and into the hand of their enemies, and into the hand of those that seek their life: and he shall smite them with the edge of the sword; he shall not spare them, neither have pity, nor have mercy.
以后我要将犹大王西底家和他的臣仆百姓,就是在城内,从瘟疫,刀剑,饥荒中剩下的人,都交在巴比伦王尼布甲尼撒的手中和他们仇敌,并寻索其命的人手中。巴比伦王必用刀击杀他们,不顾惜,不可怜。这是耶和华说的。

19. And it shall be, when they say unto thee, Wherefore sighest thou? that thou shalt answer, For the tidings; because it cometh: and every heart shall melt, and all hands shall be feeble, and every spirit shall faint, and all knees shall be weak as water: behold, it cometh, and shall be brought to pass, saith the Lord GOD.
他们问你说,为何叹息呢。你就说,因为有风声,灾祸要来。人心都必消化,手都发软,精神衰败,膝弱如水。看哪,这灾祸临近,必然成就。这是主耶和华说的。

20. And brought the ass, and the colt, and put on them their clothes, and they set him thereon.
牵了驴和驴驹来,把自己的衣服搭在上面,耶稣就骑上。

21. And they asked him, saying, Master, but when shall these things be? and what sign will there be when these things shall come to pass?
他们问他说,夫子,什么时候有这件事,这事将到的时候,有什么豫兆呢。

22. Therefore that disciple whom Jesus loved saith unto Peter, It is the Lord. Now when Simon Peter heard that it was the Lord, he girt his fisher's coat unto him, (for he was naked,) and did cast himself into the sea.
耶稣所爱的那门徒对彼得说,是主。那时西门彼得赤着身子,一听见是主,就束上一件外衣,跳在海里。

23. And when we had finished our course from Tyre, we came to Ptolemais, and saluted the brethren, and abode with them one day.
我们从推罗行尽了水路,来到多利买,就问那里的弟兄安,和他们同住了一天。

24. He that overcometh shall inherit all things; and I will be his God, and he shall be my son.
得胜的,必承受这些为业。我要作他的神,他要作我的儿子。
