1. And when Balak heard that Balaam was come, he went out to meet him unto a city of Moab, which is in the border of Arnon, which is in the utmost coast.
巴勒听见巴兰来了，就往摩押京城去迎接他。这城是在边界上，在亚嫩河旁。

2. Thou hast also given me the shield of thy salvation: and thy gentleness hath made me great.
你把你的救恩给我作盾牌。你的温和使我为大。

3. And there went a proclamation throughout the host about the going down of the sun, saying, Every man to his city, and every man to his own country.
约在日落的时候，有号令传遍军中，说，各归本城，各归本地吧。

4. Master, which is the great commandment in the law?
夫子，律法上的诫命，那一条是最大的呢。

5. Then said he unto them, But now, he that hath a purse, let him take it, and likewise his scrip: and he that hath no sword, let him sell his garment, and buy one.
耶稣说，但如今有钱囊的可以带着，有口袋的也可以带着。没有刀的要卖衣服买刀。
