1. Then on the third day Abraham lifted up his eyes, and saw the place afar off.
到了第三日,亚伯拉罕举目远远地看见那地方。

2. If the theft be certainly found in his hand alive, whether it be ox, or ass, or sheep; he shall restore double.
若他所偷的,或牛,或驴,或羊,仍在他手下存活,他就要加倍赔还。

3. What man soever of the seed of Aaron is a leper, or hath a running issue; he shall not eat of the holy things, until he be clean. And whoso toucheth any thing that is unclean by the dead, or a man whose seed goeth from him;
亚伦的后裔,凡长大麻疯的,或是有漏症的,不可吃圣物,直等他洁净了。无论谁摸那因死尸不洁净的物(物或作人),或是遗精的人,

4. And Moab said unto the elders of Midian, Now shall this company lick up all that are round about us, as the ox licketh up the grass of the field. And Balak the son of Zippor was king of the Moabites at that time.
对米甸的长老说,现在这众人要把我们四围所有的一概舔尽,就如牛舔尽田间的草一般。那时西拨的儿子巴勒作摩押王。

5. Thou shalt not see thy brother's ass or his ox fall down by the way, and hide thyself from them: thou shalt surely help him to lift them up again.
你若看见弟兄的牛或驴跌倒在路上,不可佯为不见,总要帮助他拉起来。

6. And now the LORD your God hath given rest unto your brethren, as he promised them: therefore now return ye, and get you unto your tents, and unto the land of your possession, which Moses the servant of the LORD gave you on the other side Jordan.
如今耶和华你们神照着他所应许的,使你们弟兄得享平安,现在可以转回你们的帐棚,到耶和华的仆人摩西在约旦河东所赐你们为业之地。

7. And he brought them before the king of Moab: and they dwelt with him all the while that David was in the hold.
大卫领他父母到摩押王面前。大卫住山寨多少日子,他父母也住摩押王那里多少日子。

8. I will call on the LORD, who is worthy to be praised: so shall I be saved from mine enemies.
我要求告当赞美的耶和华,这样,我必从仇敌手中被救出来。

9. And he said unto Jehoshaphat, Wilt thou go with me to battle to Ramothgilead? And Jehoshaphat said to the king of Israel, I am as thou art, my people as thy people, my horses as thy horses.
亚哈问约沙法说,你肯同我去攻取基列的拉末吗。约沙法对以色列王说,你我不分彼此,我的民与你的民一样,我的马与你的马一样。

10. Go up to Hilkiah the high priest, that he may sum the silver which is brought into the house of the LORD, which the keepers of the door have gathered of the people:
你去见大祭司希勒家,使他将奉到耶和华殿的银子,就是守门的从民中收聚的银子,数算数算,

11. And David said, Solomon my son is young and tender, and the house that is to be builded for the LORD must be exceeding magnifical, of fame and of glory throughout all countries: I will therefore now make preparation for it. So David prepared abundantly before his death.
大卫说,我儿子所罗门还年幼娇嫩,要为耶和华建造的殿宇必须高大辉煌,使名誉荣耀传遍万国。所以我要为殿预备材料。于是,大卫在未死之先预备的材料甚多。

12. Wherefore he did evil in the sight of the LORD like the house of Ahab: for they were his counsellors after the death of his father to his destruction.
他行耶和华眼中看为恶的事,像亚哈家一样。因他父亲死后有亚哈家的人给他主谋,以致败坏。

13. Will he reprove thee for fear of thee? will he enter with thee into judgment?
岂是因你敬畏他,就责备你,审判你吗。

14. Our fathers trusted in thee: they trusted, and thou didst deliver them.
我们的祖宗倚靠你。他们倚靠你,你便解救他们。

15. By humility and the fear of the LORD are riches, and honour, and life.
敬畏耶和华心存谦卑,就得富有,尊荣,生命,为赏赐。

16. Therefore said I, Look away from me; I will weep bitterly, labour not to comfort me, because of the spoiling of the daughter of my people.
所以我说,你们转眼不看我,我要痛哭。不要因我众民(原文作民女)的毁灭,就竭力安慰我。

17. For if ye do this thing indeed, then shall there enter in by the gates of this house kings sitting upon the throne of David, riding in chariots and on horses, he, and his servants, and his people.
你们若认真行这事,就必有坐大卫宝座的君王和他的臣仆百姓,或坐车或骑马,从这城的各门进入。

18. Thou art become guilty in thy blood that thou hast shed; and hast defiled thyself in thine idols which thou hast made; and thou hast caused thy days to draw near, and art come even unto thy years: therefore have I made thee a reproach unto the heathen, and a mocking to all countries.
你因流了人的血,就为有罪。你作了偶像,就玷污自己,使你受报之日临近,报应之年来到。所以我叫你受列国的凌辱和列邦的讥诮。

19. Again, he sent forth other servants, saying, Tell them which are bidden, Behold, I have prepared my dinner: my oxen and my fatlings are killed, and all things are ready: come unto the marriage.
王又打发别的仆人说,你们告诉那被召的人,我的筵席已经豫备好了,牛和肥畜已经宰了,各样都齐备。请你们来赴席。

20. And he went his way, and communed with the chief priests and captains, how he might betray him unto them.
他去和祭司长并守殿官商量,怎吗可以把耶稣交给他们。

21. And I persecuted this way unto the death, binding and delivering into prisons both men and women.
我也曾逼迫奉这道的人,直到死地,无论男女都锁拿下。

22. And they shall see his face; and his name shall be in their foreheads.
也要见他的面。他的名字必写在他们的额上。
