1. And Ephron dwelt among the children of Heth: and Ephron the Hittite answered Abraham in the audience of the children of Heth, even of all that went in at the gate of his city, saying,
当时以弗仑正坐在赫人中间。于是，赫人以弗仑在城门出入的赫人面前对亚伯拉罕说，

2. And six years thou shalt sow thy land, and shalt gather in the fruits thereof:
六年你要耕种田地，收藏土产，

3. Speak unto the children of Israel, and say unto them, When ye be come into the land which I give unto you, and shall reap the harvest thereof, then ye shall bring a sheaf of the firstfruits of your harvest unto the priest:
你晓谕以色列人说，你们到了我赐给你们的地，收割庄稼的时候，要将初熟的庄稼一捆带给祭司。

4. Who can count the dust of Jacob, and the number of the fourth part of Israel? Let me die the death of the righteous, and let my last end be like his!
谁能数点雅各的尘土，谁能计算以色列的四分之一，我愿如义人之死而死。我愿如义人之终而终。

5. If there be among you any man, that is not clean by reason of uncleanness that chanceth him by night, then shall he go abroad out of the camp, he shall not come within the camp:
你们中间，若有人夜间偶然梦遗，不洁净，就要出到营外，不可入营。

6. One man of you shall chase a thousand: for the LORD your God, he it is that fighteth for you, as he hath promised you.
你们一人必追赶千人，因耶和华你们的神照他所应许的，为你们争战。

7. Then said David, O LORD God of Israel, thy servant hath certainly heard that Saul seeketh to come to Keilah, to destroy the city for my sake.
大卫祷告说，耶和华以色列的神阿，你仆人听真了扫罗要往基伊拉来，为我的缘故灭城。

8. He arose, and smote the Philistines until his hand was weary, and his hand clave unto the sword: and the LORD wrought a great victory that day; and the people returned after him only to spoil.
他起来击杀非利士人，直到手臂疲乏，手黏住刀把。那日耶和华使以色列人大获全胜。众民在以利亚撒后头专夺财物。

9. And he defiled Topheth, which is in the valley of the children of Hinnom, that no man might make his son or his daughter to pass through the fire to Molech.
又污秽欣嫩子谷的陀斐特，不许人在那里使儿女经火献给摩洛。

10. And the sons of Shimei were, Jahath, Zina, and Jeush, and Beriah. These four were the sons of Shimei.
示每的儿子是雅哈，细拿，耶乌施，比利亚共四人。

11. And he set all the people, every man having his weapon in his hand, from the right side of the temple to the left side of the temple, along by the altar and the temple, by the king round about.
又分派众民手中各拿兵器，在坛和殿那里，从殿右直到殿左，站在王子的四围。

12. But he knoweth the way that I take: when he hath tried me, I shall come forth as gold.
然而他知道我所行的路。他试炼我之后，我必如精金。

13. Remove not the old landmark; and enter not into the fields of the fatherless:
不可挪移古时的地界。也不可侵入孤儿的田地。

14. Pass through thy land as a river, O daughter of Tarshish: there is no more strength.
他施的民哪，（民原文作女）可以流行你的地，好像尼罗河，不再有腰带拘紧你。

15. For the land is full of adulterers; for because of swearing the land mourneth; the pleasant places of the wilderness are dried up, and their course is evil, and their force is not right.
地满了行淫的人。因妄自赌咒，地就悲哀。旷野的草场都枯乾了。他们所行的道乃是恶的。他们的勇力使得不正。

16. These discovered her nakedness: they took her sons and her daughters, and slew her with the sword: and she became famous among women; for they had executed judgment upon her.
他们就露了她的下体，掳掠她的儿女，用刀杀了她，使她在妇女中留下臭名，因他们向她施行审判。

17. Neither be ye called masters: for one is your Master, even Christ.
也不要受师尊的称呼。因为只有一位是你们的师尊，就是基督。

18. And the chief priests and scribes stood and vehemently accused him.
祭司长和文士，都站着极力的告他。

19. And when there arose a great dissension, the chief captain, fearing lest Paul should have been pulled in pieces of them, commanded the soldiers to go down, and to take him by force from among them, and to bring him into the castle.
那时大起争吵，千夫长恐怕保罗被他们扯碎了，就吩咐兵丁下去，把他从众人当中抢出来，带进营楼去。
