1. Thou shalt not bow down to their gods, nor serve them, nor do after their works: but thou shalt utterly overthrow them, and quite break down their images.
你不可跪拜他们的神，不可事奉他，也不可效法他们的行为，却要把神像尽行拆毁，打碎他们的柱像。

2. Speak unto the children of Israel, saying, In the seventh month, in the first day of the month, shall ye have a sabbath, a memorial of blowing of trumpets, an holy convocation.
你晓谕以色列人说，七月初一，你们要守为圣安息日，要吹角作纪念，当有圣会。

3. Behold, the people shall rise up as a great lion, and lift up himself as a young lion: he shall not lie down until he eat of the prey, and drink the blood of the slain.
这民起来，彷佛母狮，挺身，好像公狮，未曾吃野食，未曾喝被伤者之血，决不躺卧。

4. When thou comest into thy neighbour's vineyard, then thou mayest eat grapes thy fill at thine own pleasure; but thou shalt not put any in thy vessel.
你进了邻舍的葡萄园，可以随意吃饱了葡萄，只是不可装在器皿中。

5. And they arose, and went to Ziph before Saul: but David and his men were in the wilderness of Maon, in the plain on the south of Jeshimon.
西弗人就起身，在扫罗以先往西弗去。大卫和跟随他的人却在玛云旷野南边的亚拉巴。

6. Asahel the brother of Joab was one of the thirty; Elhanan the son of Dodo of Bethlehem,
三十个勇士里有约押的兄弟亚撒黑，伯利恒人朵多的儿子伊勒哈难，

7. Moreover the workers with familiar spirits, and the wizards, and the images, and the idols, and all the abominations that were spied in the land of Judah and in Jerusalem, did Josiah put away, that he might perform the words of the law which were written in the book that Hilkiah the priest found in the house of the LORD.
凡犹大国和耶路撒冷所有交鬼的，行巫术的，与家中的神像和偶像，并一切可憎之物，约西亚尽都除掉，成就了祭司希勒家在耶和华殿里所得律法书上所写的话。

8. These were the sons of Levi after the house of their fathers; even the chief of the fathers, as they were counted by number of names by their polls, that did the work for the service of the house of the LORD, from the age of twenty years and upward.
以上利未子孙作族长的，照着男丁的数目，从二十岁以外，都办耶和华殿的事务。

9. The father of the righteous shall greatly rejoice: and he that begetteth a wise child shall have joy of him.
义人的父亲，必大得快乐。人生智慧的儿子，必因他欢喜。

10. Can any hide himself in secret places that I shall not see him? saith the LORD. Do not I fill heaven and earth? saith the LORD.
耶和华说，人岂能在隐密处藏身，使我看不见他呢。耶和华说，我岂不充满天地吗。

11. And they shall come against thee with chariots, wagons, and wheels, and with an assembly of people, which shall set against thee buckler and shield and helmet round about: and I will set judgment before them, and they shall judge thee according to their judgments.
他们必带兵器，战车，辎重车，率领大众来攻击你。他们要拿大小盾牌，顶盔摆阵，在你四围攻击你。我要将审判的事交给他们，他们必按着自己的条例审判你。

12. Ye blind guides, which strain at a gnat, and swallow a camel.
你们这瞎眼领路的，蠓虫你们就滤出来，骆驼你们倒吞下去。

13. And Pilate gave sentence that it should be as they required.
彼拉多这才照他们所求的定案。

14. And provide them beasts, that they may set Paul on, and bring him safe unto Felix the governor.
也要豫备牲口叫保罗骑上，护送到巡抚腓力斯那里去。
