1. And the children of Heth answered Abraham, saying unto him,
赫人回答亚伯拉罕说，

2. If thou see the ass of him that hateth thee lying under his burden, and wouldest forbear to help him, thou shalt surely help with him.
若看见恨你人的驴压卧在重驮之下，不可走开，务要和驴主一同抬开重驮。

3. In the fourteenth day of the first month at even is the LORD's passover.
正月十四日，黄昏的时候，是耶和华的逾越节。

4. And the LORD put a word in Balaam's mouth, and said, Return unto Balak, and thus thou shalt speak.
耶和华将话传给巴兰，又说，你回到巴勒那里，要如此如此说。

5. Nevertheless the LORD thy God would not hearken unto Balaam; but the LORD thy God turned the curse into a blessing unto thee, because the LORD thy God loved thee.
然而耶和华你的神不肯听从巴兰，却使那咒诅的言语变为祝福的话，因为耶和华你的神爱你。

6. And the LORD your God, he shall expel them from before you, and drive them from out of your sight; and ye shall possess their land, as the LORD your God hath promised unto you.
耶和华你们的神必将他们从你们面前赶出去，使他们离开你们，你们就必得他们的地为业，正如耶和华你们的神所应许的。

7. So David and his men went to Keilah, and fought with the Philistines, and brought away their cattle, and smote them with a great slaughter. So David saved the inhabitants of Keilah.
大卫和跟随他的人往基伊拉去，与非利士人打仗，大大杀败他们，又夺获他们的牲畜。这样，大卫救了基伊拉的居民。

8. Although my house be not so with God; yet he hath made with me an everlasting covenant, ordered in all things, and sure: for this is all my salvation, and all my desire, although he make it not to grow.
我家在神面前并非如此。神却与我立永远的约。这约凡事坚稳，关乎我的一切救恩和我一切所想望的，他岂不为我成就吗。

9. And he put down the idolatrous priests, whom the kings of Judah had ordained to burn incense in the high places in the cities of Judah, and in the places round about Jerusalem; them also that burned incense unto Baal, to the sun, and to the moon, and to the planets, and to all the host of heaven.
从前犹大列王所立拜偶像的祭司，在犹大城邑的邱坛和耶路撒冷的周围烧香，现在王都废去，又废去向巴力和日，月，行星（或作十二宫），并天上万象烧香的人。

10. Moreover four thousand were porters; and four thousand praised the LORD with the instruments which I made, said David, to praise therewith.
有四千人作守门的，又有四千人用大卫所作的乐器颂赞耶和华。

11. And a third part shall be at the king's house; and a third part at the gate of the foundation: and all the people shall be in the courts of the house of the LORD.
三分之一要在王宫，三分之一要在基址门。众百姓要在耶和华殿的院内。

12. I would know the words which he would answer me, and understand what he would say unto me.
我必知道他回答我的言语，明白他向我所说的话。

13. Thou preparest a table before me in the presence of mine enemies: thou anointest my head with oil; my cup runneth over.
在我敌人面前，你为我摆设筵席。你用油膏了我的头，使我的福杯满溢。

14. Wilt thou set thine eyes upon that which is not? for riches certainly make themselves wings; they fly away as an eagle toward heaven.
你岂要定睛在虚无的钱财上吗。因钱财必长翅膀，如鹰向天飞去。

15. As at the report concerning Egypt, so shall they be sorely pained at the report of Tyre.
这风声传到埃及，埃及人为推罗的风声，极其疼痛。

16. Behold, the days come, saith the LORD, that I will raise unto David a righteous Branch, and a King shall reign and prosper, and shall execute judgment and justice in the earth.
耶和华说，日子将到，我要给大卫兴起一个公义的苗裔。他必掌王权，行事有智慧，在地上施行公平和公义。

17. And Aholah played the harlot when she was mine; and she doted on her lovers, on the Assyrians her neighbours,
阿荷拉归我之后行邪淫，贪恋所爱的人，就是她的邻邦亚述人。

18. But all their works they do for to be seen of men: they make broad their phylacteries, and enlarge the borders of their garments,
他们一切所作的事，都是要叫人看见。所以将佩戴的经文做宽了，衣裳的？？子做长了。

19. And they were the more fierce, saying, He stirreth up the people, teaching throughout all Jewry, beginning from Galilee to this place.
但他们越发极力的说，他煽惑百姓，在犹太遍地传道，从加利利起，直到这里了。

20. Then said Paul, I wist not, brethren, that he was the high priest: for it is written, Thou shalt not speak evil of the ruler of thy people.
保罗说，弟兄们，我不晓得他是大祭司。经上记着说，不可毁谤你百姓的官长。
