1. And Abraham stood up, and bowed himself to the people of the land, even to the children of Heth.
亚伯拉罕就起来,向那地的赫人下拜,

2. Keep thee far from a false matter; and the innocent and righteous slay thou not: for I will not justify the wicked.
当远离虚假的事。不可杀无辜和有义的人,因我必不以恶人为义。

3. In the first day ye shall have an holy convocation: ye shall do no servile work therein.
第一日当有圣会,什么劳碌的工都不可作。

4. And he took up his parable, and said, Balak the king of Moab hath brought me from Aram, out of the mountains of the east, saying, Come, curse me Jacob, and come, defy Israel.
巴兰便题起诗歌说,巴勒引我出亚兰,摩押王引我出东山,说,来阿,为我咒诅雅各。来阿,怒骂以色列。

5. Thou shalt not abhor an Edomite; for he is thy brother: thou shalt not abhor an Egyptian; because thou wast a stranger in his land.
不可憎恶以东人,因为他是你的弟兄。不可憎恶埃及人,因为你在他的地上作过寄居的。

6. That ye come not among these nations, these that remain among you; neither make mention of the name of their gods, nor cause to swear by them, neither serve them, nor bow yourselves unto them:
不可与你们中间所剩下的这些国民搀杂。他们的神,你们不可提他的名,不可指着他起誓,也不可事奉,叩拜。

7. And it was told Saul that David was come to Keilah. And Saul said, God hath delivered him into mine hand; for he is shut in, by entering into a town that hath gates and bars.
有人告诉扫罗说,大卫到了基伊拉。扫罗说,他进了有门有闩的城,困闭在里头。这是神将他交在我手里了。

8. But the man that shall touch them must be fenced with iron and the staff of a spear; and they shall be utterly burned with fire in the same place.
拿它的人必带铁器和枪杆,终久它必被火焚烧。

9. And he brake down the houses of the sodomites, that were by the house of the LORD, where the women wove hangings for the grove.
又拆毁耶和华殿里娈童的屋子,就是妇女为亚舍拉织帐子的屋子,

10. Of the Gershonites were, Laadan, and Shimei.
革顺的子孙有拉但和示每。

11. And the Levites shall compass the king round about, every man with his weapons in his hand; and whosoever else cometh into the house, he shall be put to death: but be ye with the king when he cometh in, and when he goeth out.
利未人要手中各拿兵器,四围护卫王。凡擅入殿宇的,必当治死。王出入的时候,你们当跟随他。

12. There the righteous might dispute with him; so should I be delivered for ever from my judge.
在他那里,正直人可以与他辩论。这样,我必永远脱离那审判我的。

13. For as he thinketh in his heart, so is he: Eat and drink, saith he to thee; but his heart is not with thee.
因为他心怎样思量,他为人就是怎样。他虽对你说,请吃,请喝。他的心却与你向背。

14. Is this your joyous city, whose antiquity is of ancient days? her own feet shall carry her afar off to sojourn.
这是你们欢乐的城,从上古而有的吗。其中的居民,往远方寄居。

15. Therefore, behold, the days come, saith the LORD, that they shall no more say, The LORD liveth, which brought up the children of Israel out of the land of Egypt;
耶和华说,日子将到,人必不再指着那领以色列人从埃及地上来永生的耶和华起誓,

16. Thus she committed her whoredoms with them, with all them that were the chosen men of Assyria, and with all on whom she doted: with all their idols she defiled herself.
阿荷拉就与亚述人中最美的男子放纵淫行,她因所恋爱之人的一切偶像,玷污自己。

17. And greetings in the markets, and to be called of men, Rabbi, Rabbi.
又喜爱人在街市上问他安,称呼他拉比。(拉比就是夫子)

18. And as soon as he knew that he belonged unto Herod's jurisdiction, he sent him to Herod, who himself also was at Jerusalem at that time.
既晓得耶稣属希律所管,就把他送到希律那里去。那时希律正在耶路撒冷。

19. And when he had so said, there arose a dissension between the Pharisees and the Sadducees: and the multitude was divided.
说了这话,法利赛人和撒都该人,就争论起来,会众分为两党。
