1. And he communed with them, saying, If it be your mind that I should bury my dead out of my sight; hear me, and intreat for me to Ephron the son of Zohar,
对他们说，你们若有意叫我埋葬我的死人，使她不在我眼前，就请听我的话，为我求琐辖的儿子以弗仑，

2. And thou shalt take no gift: for the gift blindeth the wise, and perverteth the words of the righteous.
不可受贿赂，因为贿赂能叫明眼人变瞎了，又能颠倒义人的话。

3. But ye shall offer an offering made by fire unto the LORD seven days: in the seventh day is an holy convocation: ye shall do no servile work therein.
要将火祭献给耶和华七日。第七日是圣会，什么劳碌的工都不可作。

4. How shall I curse, whom God hath not cursed? or how shall I defy, whom the LORD hath not defied?
神没有咒诅的，我焉能咒诅，耶和华没有怒骂的，我焉能怒骂，

5. The children that are begotten of them shall enter into the congregation of the LORD in their third generation.
他们第三代子孙可以入耶和华的会。

6. But cleave unto the LORD your God, as ye have done unto this day.
只要照着你们到今日所行的，专靠耶和华你们的神。

7. And Saul called all the people together to war, to go down to Keilah, to besiege David and his men.
于是扫罗招聚众民，要下去攻打基伊拉城，围困大卫和跟随他的人。

8. These be the names of the mighty men whom David had: The Tachmonite that sat in the seat, chief among the captains; the same was Adino the Eznite: he lift up his spear against eight hundred, whom he slew at one time.
大卫勇士的名字记在下面，他革扪人约设巴设，又称伊斯尼人亚底挪，他是军长的统领，一时击杀了八百人。

9. And he brought all the priests out of the cities of Judah, and defiled the high places where the priests had burned incense, from Geba to Beersheba, and brake down the high places of the gates that were in the entering in of the gate of Joshua the governor of the city, which were on a man's left hand at the gate of the city.
并且从犹大的城邑带众祭司来，污秽祭司烧香的邱坛，从迦巴直到别是巴，又拆毁城门旁的邱坛，这邱坛在邑宰约书亚门前，进城门的左边。

10. The sons of Laadan; the chief was Jehiel, and Zetham, and Joel, three.
拉但的长子是耶歇，还有细坦和约珥，共三人。

11. So the Levites and all Judah did according to all things that Jehoiada the priest had commanded, and took every man his men that were to come in on the sabbath, with them that were to go out on the sabbath: for Jehoiada the priest dismissed not the courses.
利未人和犹大众人都照着祭司耶何耶大一切所吩咐的去行，各带所管安息日进班出班的人来，因为祭司耶何耶大不许他们下班。

12. Behold, I go forward, but he is not there; and backward, but I cannot perceive him:
只是，我往前行，他不在那里，往后退，也不能见他。

13. The morsel which thou hast eaten shalt thou vomit up, and lose thy sweet words.
你所吃的那点食物，必吐出来。你所说的甘美言语，也必落空。

14. Who hath taken this counsel against Tyre, the crowning city, whose merchants are princes, whose traffickers are the honourable of the earth?
推罗本是赐冠冕的。他的商家是王子，他的买卖人，是世上的尊贵人。遭遇如此，是谁定的呢。

15. But, The LORD liveth, which brought up and which led the seed of the house of Israel out of the north country, and from all countries whither I had driven them; and they shall dwell in their own land.
却要指着那领以色列家的后裔从北方和赶他们到的各国中上来，永生的耶和华起誓。他们必住在本地。

16. Neither left she her whoredoms brought from Egypt: for in her youth they lay with her, and they bruised the breasts of her virginity, and poured their whoredom upon her.
自从在埃及的时候，她就没有离开淫乱，因为她年幼作处女的时候，埃及人与她行淫，抚摸她的乳，纵欲与她行淫。

17. But be not ye called Rabbi: for one is your Master, even Christ; and all ye are brethren.
但你们不要受拉比的称呼。因为只有一位是你们的夫子。你们都是弟兄。

18. And when Herod saw Jesus, he was exceeding glad: for he was desirous to see him of a long season, because he had heard many things of him; and he hoped to have seen some miracle done by him.
希律看见耶稣，就很欢喜。因为听见过他的事，久已想要见他。并且指望看他行一件神迹。

19. For the Sadducees say that there is no resurrection, neither angel, nor spirit: but the Pharisees confess both.
因为撒都该人说，没有复活，也没有天使，和鬼魂，法利赛人却说，两样都有。
