1. And it came to pass after the death of Abraham, that God blessed his son Isaac; and Isaac dwelt by the well Lahairoi.
亚伯拉罕死了以后,神赐福给他的儿子以撒。以撒靠近庇耳拉海莱居住。

2. And thou shalt overlay it with pure gold, within and without shalt thou overlay it, and shalt make upon it a crown of gold round about.
要里外包上精金,四围镶上金牙边。

3. A jubile shall that fiftieth year be unto you: ye shall not sow, neither reap that which groweth of itself in it, nor gather the grapes in it of thy vine undressed.
第五十年要作为你们的禧年。这年不可耕种,地中自长的,不可收割,没有修理的葡萄树也不可摘取葡萄。

4. Phinehas, the son of Eleazar, the son of Aaron the priest, hath turned my wrath away from the children of Israel, while he was zealous for my sake among them, that I consumed not the children of Israel in my jealousy.
祭司亚伦的孙子,以利亚撒的儿子非尼哈,使我向以色列人所发的怒消了。因他在他们中间,以我的忌邪为心,使我不在忌邪中把他们除灭。

5. When men strive together one with another, and the wife of the one draweth near for to deliver her husband out of the hand of him that smiteth him, and putteth forth her hand, and taketh him by the secrets:
若有二人争斗,这人的妻近前来,要救她丈夫脱离那打她丈夫之人的手,抓住那人的下体,

6. Shall I then take my bread, and my water, and my flesh that I have killed for my shearers, and give it unto men, whom I know not whence they be?
我岂可将饮食和为我剪羊毛人所宰的肉给我不知道从哪里来的人呢。

7. Now the rest of the people that were left in the city, and the fugitives that fell away to the king of Babylon, with the remnant of the multitude, did Nebuzaradan the captain of the guard carry away.
那时护卫长尼布撒拉旦将城里所剩下的百姓,并已经投降巴比伦王的人,以及大众所剩下的人,都掳去了。

8. The fourth to Izri, he, his sons, and his brethren, were twelve:
第四是伊洗利。他和他儿子并弟兄共十二人。

9. And Amaziah strengthened himself, and led forth his people, and went to the valley of salt, and smote of the children of Seir ten thousand.
亚玛谢壮起胆来,率领他的民到盐谷,杀了西珥人一万。

10. For thy name's sake, O LORD, pardon mine iniquity; for it is great.
耶和华阿,求你因你的名赦免我的罪,因为我的罪重大。

11. A word fitly spoken is like apples of gold in pictures of silver.
一句话说得合宜,就如金苹果在银网子里。

12. And he shall spread forth his hands in the midst of them, as he that swimmeth spreadeth forth his hands to swim: and he shall bring down their pride together with the spoils of their hands.
他必在其中伸开手,好像??水的伸开手??水一样。但耶和华必使他的骄傲,和他手所行的诡计,一并败落。

13. And this whole land shall be a desolation, and an astonishment; and these nations shall serve the king of Babylon seventy years.
这全地必然荒凉,令人惊骇。这些国民要服事巴比伦王七十年。

14. And I will execute judgments upon Moab; and they shall know that I am the LORD.
我必向摩押施行审判,他们就知道我是耶和华。

15. Afterward came also the other virgins, saying, Lord, Lord, open to us.
其馀的童女,随后也来了,说,主阿,主阿,给我们开门。

16. For if I be an offender, or have committed any thing worthy of death, I refuse not to die: but if there be none of these things whereof these accuse me, no man may deliver me unto them. I appeal unto Caesar.
我若行了不义的事,犯了什么该死的罪,就是死,我也不辞。他们所告我的事若都不实,就没有人可以把我交给他们。我要上告于凯撒。
