1. And they dwelt from Havilah unto Shur, that is before Egypt, as thou goest toward Assyria: and he died in the presence of all his brethren.
他子孙的住处在他众弟兄东边，从哈腓拉直到埃及前的书珥，正在亚述的道上。

2. And thou shalt make two cherubims of gold, of beaten work shalt thou make them, in the two ends of the mercy seat.
要用金子锤出两个基路伯来，安在施恩座的两头。

3. Wherefore ye shall do my statutes, and keep my judgments, and do them; and ye shall dwell in the land in safety.
我的律例，你们要遵行，我的典章，你们要谨守，就可以在那地上安然居住。

4. For they vex you with their wiles, wherewith they have beguiled you in the matter of Peor, and in the matter of Cozbi, the daughter of a prince of Midian, their sister, which was slain in the day of the plague for Peor's sake.
因为他们用诡计扰害你们，在毗珥的事上和他们的姊妹，米甸首领的女儿哥斯比的事上，用这诡计诱惑了你们。这哥斯比，当瘟疫流行的日子，因毗珥的事被杀了。

5. How he met thee by the way, and smote the hindmost of thee, even all that were feeble behind thee, when thou wast faint and weary; and he feared not God.
他们在路上遇见你，趁你疲乏困倦击杀你尽后边软弱的人，并不敬畏神。

6. Then Abigail made haste, and took two hundred loaves, and two bottles of wine, and five sheep ready dressed, and five measures of parched corn, and an hundred clusters of raisins, and two hundred cakes of figs, and laid them on asses.
亚比该急忙将二百饼，两皮袋酒，五只收拾好了的羊，五细亚烘好了的穗子，一百葡萄饼，二百无花果饼，都驮在驴上，

7. And the captain of the guard took Seraiah the chief priest, and Zephaniah the second priest, and the three keepers of the door:
护卫长拿住大祭司西莱雅，副祭司西番亚，和三个把门的，

8. The eleventh to Azareel, he, his sons, and his brethren, were twelve:
第十一是亚萨烈。他和他儿子并弟兄共十二人。

9. And Joash king of Israel sent to Amaziah king of Judah, saying, The thistle that was in Lebanon sent to the cedar that was in Lebanon, saying, Give thy daughter to my son to wife: and there passed by a wild beast that was in Lebanon, and trode down the thistle.
以色列王约阿施差遣使者去见犹大王亚玛谢，说，黎巴嫩的蒺藜差遣使者去见黎巴嫩的香柏树，说，将你的女儿给我儿子为妻。后来黎巴嫩有一个野兽经过，把蒺藜践踏了。

10. Look upon mine affliction and my pain; and forgive all my sins.
求你看顾我的困苦，我的艰难，赦免我一切的罪。

11. A man that beareth false witness against his neighbour is a maul, and a sword, and a sharp arrow.
作假见证陷害邻舍的，就是大槌，是利刀，是快箭。

12. To wit, Jerusalem, and the cities of Judah, and the kings thereof, and the princes thereof, to make them a desolation, an astonishment, an hissing, and a curse; as it is this day;
就是耶路撒冷和犹大的城邑，并耶路撒冷的君王与首领，使这城邑荒凉，令人惊骇，嗤笑，咒诅，正如今日一样。

13. But he that had received one went and digged in the earth, and hid his lord's money.
但那领一千的，去掘开地，把主人的银子埋藏了。

14. Against whom when the accusers stood up, they brought none accusation of such things as I supposed:
告他的人站着告他。所告的，并没有我所逆料的那等恶事。
