1. And she bare him Zimran, and Jokshan, and Medan, and Midian, and Ishbak, and Shuah.
基土拉给他生了心兰，约珊，米但，米甸，伊施巴，和书亚。

2. Speak unto the children of Israel, that they bring me an offering: of every man that giveth it willingly with his heart ye shall take my offering.
你告诉以色列人当为我送礼物来，凡甘心乐意的，你们就可以收下归我。

3. Speak unto the children of Israel, and say unto them, When ye come into the land which I give you, then shall the land keep a sabbath unto the LORD.
你晓谕以色列人说，你们到了我所赐你们那地的时候，地就要向耶和华守安息。

4. And they called the people unto the sacrifices of their gods: and the people did eat, and bowed down to their gods.
因为这女子叫百姓来，一同给她们的神献祭，百姓就吃她们的祭物，跪拜她们的神。

5. And it shall be, if the wicked man be worthy to be beaten, that the judge shall cause him to lie down, and to be beaten before his face, according to his fault, by a certain number.
恶人若该受责打，审判官就要叫他当面伏在地上，按着他的罪照数责打。

6. And there was a man in Maon, whose possessions were in Carmel; and the man was very great, and he had three thousand sheep, and a thousand goats: and he was shearing his sheep in Carmel.
在玛云有一个人，他的产业在迦密，是一个大富户，有三千绵羊，一千山羊。他正在迦密剪羊毛。

7. And the city was besieged unto the eleventh year of king Zedekiah.
于是城被围困，直到西底家王十一年。

8. Of the sons of Asaph; Zaccur, and Joseph, and Nethaniah, and Asarelah, the sons of Asaph under the hands of Asaph, which prophesied according to the order of the king.
亚萨的儿子撒刻，约瑟，尼探雅，亚萨利拉都归亚萨指教，遵王的旨意唱歌。

9. And he did that which was right in the sight of the LORD, but not with a perfect heart.
亚玛谢行耶和华眼中看为正的事，只是心不专诚。

10. Dominion and fear are with him, he maketh peace in his high places.
神有治理之权，有威严可畏。他在高处施行和平。

11. O my God, I trust in thee: let me not be ashamed, let not mine enemies triumph over me.
我的神阿，我素来倚靠你。求你不要叫我羞愧。不要叫我的仇敌向我夸胜。

12. It is the glory of God to conceal a thing: but the honour of kings is to search out a matter.
将事隐秘，乃神的荣耀。将事察清，乃君王的荣耀。

13. For thou hast made of a city an heap; of a defenced city a ruin: a palace of strangers to be no city; it shall never be built.
你使城变为乱堆，使坚固城变为荒场，使外邦人宫殿的城，不再为城，永远不再建造。

14. The which Jeremiah the prophet spake unto all the people of Judah, and to all the inhabitants of Jerusalem, saying,
先知耶利米就将这话对犹大众人和耶路撒冷的一切居民说，

15. Son of man, set thy face against the Ammonites, and prophesy against them;
人子阿，你要面向亚扪人说预言，攻击他们，

16. And five of them were wise, and five were foolish.
其中有五个是愚拙的。五个是聪明的。

17. Then the high priest and the chief of the Jews informed him against Paul, and besought him,
