1. And Isaac was forty years old when he took Rebekah to wife, the daughter of Bethuel the Syrian of Padanaram, the sister to Laban the Syrian.
以撒娶利百加为妻的时候正四十岁。利百加是巴旦亚兰地的亚兰人彼土利的女儿,是亚兰人拉班的妹子。

2. And the cherubims shall stretch forth their wings on high, covering the mercy seat with their wings, and their faces shall look one to another; toward the mercy seat shall the faces of the cherubims be.
二基路伯要高张翅膀,遮掩施恩座。基路伯要脸对脸,朝着施恩座。

3. And if ye shall say, What shall we eat the seventh year? behold, we shall not sow, nor gather in our increase:
你们若说,这第七年我们不耕种,也不收藏土产,吃什么呢。

4. And it was so, as she rode on the ass, that she came down by the covert of the hill, and, behold, David and his men came down against her; and she met them.
亚比该骑着驴,正下山坡,见大卫和跟随他的人从对面下来,亚比该就迎接他们。

5. And Nebuzaradan captain of the guard took these, and brought them to the king of Babylon to Riblah:
护卫长尼布撒拉旦将这些人带到在利比拉的巴比伦王那里。

6. The thirteenth to Shubael, he, his sons, and his brethren, were twelve:
第十三是书巴业。他和他儿子并弟兄共十二人。

7. But Amaziah would not hear; for it came of God, that he might deliver them into the hand of their enemies, because they sought after the gods of Edom.
亚玛谢却不肯听从。这是出乎神,好将他们交在敌人手里,因为他们寻求以东的神。

8. O keep my soul, and deliver me: let me not be ashamed; for I put my trust in thee.
求你保护我的性命,搭救我,使我不至羞愧,因为我投靠你。

9. As he that taketh away a garment in cold weather, and as vinegar upon nitre, so is he that singeth songs to an heavy heart.
对伤心的人唱歌,就如冷天脱衣服,又如硷上倒醋。

10. And all the mingled people, and all the kings of the land of Uz, and all the kings of the land of the Philistines, and Ashkelon, and Azzah, and Ekron, and the remnant of Ashdod,
并杂族的人民和乌斯地的诸王,与非利士地的诸王,亚实基伦,迦萨,以革伦,以及亚实突剩下的人。

11. And so he that had received five talents came and brought other five talents, saying, Lord, thou deliveredst unto me five talents: behold, I have gained beside them five talents more.
那领五千银子的,又带着那另外的五千来,说,主阿,你交给我五千银子,请看,我又赚了五千。

12. And because I doubted of such manner of questions, I asked him whether he would go to Jerusalem, and there be judged of these matters.
这些事当怎样究问,我心里作难。我以问他说,你愿意上耶路撒冷去,在那里为这些事听审吗。
