1. And the children struggled together within her; and she said, If it be so, why am I thus? And she went to enquire of the LORD.
孩子们在她腹中彼此相争，她就说，若是这样，我为什么活着呢（或作我为什么如此呢）。她就去求问耶和华。

2. And there I will meet with thee, and I will commune with thee from above the mercy seat, from between the two cherubims which are upon the ark of the testimony, of all things which I will give thee in commandment unto the children of Israel.
我要在那里与你相会，又要从法柜施恩座上二基路伯中间，和你说我所要吩咐你传给以色列人的一切事。

3. And ye shall sow the eighth year, and eat yet of old fruit until the ninth year; until her fruits come in ye shall eat of the old store.
第八年，你们要耕种，也要吃陈粮，等到第九年出产收来的时候，你们还吃陈粮。

4. So and more also do God unto the enemies of David, if I leave of all that pertain to him by the morning light any that pisseth against the wall.
凡属拿八的男丁，我若留一个到明日早晨，愿神重重降罚与我。

5. And as for the people that remained in the land of Judah, whom Nebuchadnezzar king of Babylon had left, even over them he made Gedaliah the son of Ahikam, the son of Shaphan, ruler.
至于犹大国剩下的民，就是巴比伦王尼布甲尼撒所剩下的，巴比伦王立了沙番的孙子，亚希甘的儿子基大利作他们的省长。

6. The fifteenth to Jeremoth, he, his sons, and his brethren, were twelve:
第十五是耶利摩。他和他儿子并弟兄共十二人。

7. And Judah was put to the worse before Israel, and they fled every man to his tent.
犹大人败在以色列人面前，各自逃回家里去了。

8. Redeem Israel, O God, out of all his troubles.
神阿，求你救赎以色列脱离他一切的愁苦。

9. For thou shalt heap coals of fire upon his head, and the LORD shall reward thee.
因为你这样行，就是把炭火堆在他的头上。耶和华也必赏赐你。

10. And all the kings of Tyrus, and all the kings of Zidon, and the kings of the isles which are beyond the sea,
推罗的诸王，西顿的诸王，海岛的诸王，

11. He also that had received two talents came and said, Lord, thou deliveredst unto me two talents: behold, I have gained two other talents beside them.
那领二千的也来说，主阿，你交给我二千银子，请看，我又赚了二千。

12. Then Agrippa said unto Festus, I would also hear the man myself. To morrow, said he, thou shalt hear him.
亚基帕对非斯都说，我自己也愿听这人辩论。非斯都说，明天你可以听。
