1. And it came to pass, as soon as Isaac had made an end of blessing Jacob, and Jacob was yet scarce gone out from the presence of Isaac his father, that Esau his brother came in from his hunting.
以撒为雅各祝福已毕，雅各从他父亲那里才出来，他哥哥以扫正打猎回来，

2. And all the tithe of the land, whether of the seed of the land, or of the fruit of the tree, is the LORD's: it is holy unto the LORD.
地上所有的，无论是地上的种子是树上的果子，十分之一是耶和华的，是归给耶和华为圣的。

3. Over the camels also was Obil the Ishmaelite: and over the asses was Jehdeiah the Meronothite:
掌管驼群的是以实玛利人阿比勒。掌管驴群的是米仑人耶希底亚。掌管羊群的是夏甲人雅悉。

4. And shall cause their voice to be heard against thee, and shall cry bitterly, and shall cast up dust upon their heads, they shall wallow themselves in the ashes:
他们必为你放声痛哭，把尘土撒在头上，在灰中打滚。

5. And they spit upon him, and took the reed, and smote him on the head.
又吐唾沫在他脸上，拿苇子打他的头。

6. And as the shipmen were about to flee out of the ship, when they had let down the boat into the sea, under colour as though they would have cast anchors out of the foreship,
水手想要逃出船去，把小船放在海里，假作要从船头抛锚的样子。
