1. When Esau saw that Isaac had blessed Jacob, and sent him away to Padanaram, to take him a wife from thence; and that as he blessed him he gave him a charge, saying, Thou shalt not take a wife of the daughters of Canaan;
以扫见以撒已经给雅各祝福，而且打发他往巴旦亚兰去，在那里娶妻，并见祝福的时候嘱咐他说，不要娶迦南的女子为妻，

2. And they shall make the ephod of gold, of blue, and of purple, of scarlet, and fine twined linen, with cunning work.
他们要拿金线和蓝色，紫色，朱红色线，并捻的细麻，用巧匠的手工作以弗得。

3. It is a continual burnt offering, which was ordained in mount Sinai for a sweet savour, a sacrifice made by fire unto the LORD.
这是西奈山所命定为常献的燔祭，是献给耶和华为馨香的火祭。

4. Blessed shalt thou be when thou comest in, and blessed shalt thou be when thou goest out.
你出也蒙福，入也蒙福。

5. And when Saul enquired of the LORD, the LORD answered him not, neither by dreams, nor by Urim, nor by prophets.
扫罗求问耶和华，耶和华却不藉梦，或乌陵，或先知回答他。

6. And he said unto me, Solomon thy son, he shall build my house and my courts: for I have chosen him to be my son, and I will be his father.
耶和华对我说，你儿子所罗门必建造我的殿和院宇。因为我拣选他作我的子，我也必作他的父。

7. For Pekah the son of Remaliah slew in Judah an hundred and twenty thousand in one day, which were all valiant men; because they had forsaken the LORD God of their fathers.
利玛利的儿子比加一日杀了犹大人十二万，都是勇士，因为他们离弃了耶和华他们列祖的神。

8. The stones of it are the place of sapphires: and it hath dust of gold.
地中的石头有蓝宝石，并有金沙。

9. Blessed be the LORD, because he hath heard the voice of my supplications.
耶和华是应当称颂的，因为他听了我恳求的声音。

10. Better is the poor that walketh in his uprightness, than he that is perverse in his ways, though he be rich.
行为纯正的穷乏人，胜过行事乖僻的富足人。

11. And for a spirit of judgment to him that sitteth in judgment, and for strength to them that turn the battle to the gate.
也作了在位上行审判者公平之灵，并城门口打退仇敌者的力量。

12. Even the prophet Jeremiah said, Amen: the LORD do so: the LORD perform thy words which thou hast prophesied, to bring again the vessels of the LORD's house, and all that is carried away captive, from Babylon into this place.
阿们。愿耶和华如此行，愿耶和华成就你所预言的话，将耶和华殿中的器皿和一切被掳去的人从巴比伦带回此地。

13. Therefore thus saith the Lord GOD; Because thou hast set thine heart as the heart of God;
所以主耶和华如此说，因你居心自比神，

14. He is not here: for he is risen, as he said. Come, see the place where the Lord lay.
他不在这里，照他所说的，已经复活了。你们来看安放主的地方。

15. Howbeit they looked when he should have swollen, or fallen down dead suddenly: but after they had looked a great while, and saw no harm come to him, they changed their minds, and said that he was a god.
土人想他必要肿起来，或是忽然仆倒死了。看了多时，见他无害，就转念说，他是个神。
