1. And Isaac called Jacob, and blessed him, and charged him, and said unto him, Thou shalt not take a wife of the daughters of Canaan.
以撒叫了雅各来,给他祝福,并嘱咐他说,你不要娶迦南的女子为妻。

2. And take thou unto thee Aaron thy brother, and his sons with him, from among the children of Israel, that he may minister unto me in the priest's office, even Aaron, Nadab and Abihu, Eleazar and Ithamar, Aaron's sons.
你要从以色列人中,使你的哥哥亚伦和他的儿子拿答,亚比户,以利亚撒,以他玛一同就近你,给我供祭司的职分。

3. And the LORD spake unto Moses, saying,
耶和华晓谕摩西说,

4. And it shall come to pass, if thou shalt hearken diligently unto the voice of the LORD thy God, to observe and to do all his commandments which I command thee this day, that the LORD thy God will set thee on high above all nations of the earth:
你若留意听从耶和华你神的话,谨守遵行他的一切诫命,就是我今日所吩咐你的,他必使你超乎天下万民之上。

5. And it came to pass in those days, that the Philistines gathered their armies together for warfare, to fight with Israel. And Achish said unto David, Know thou assuredly, that thou shalt go out with me to battle, thou and thy men.
那时,非利士人聚集军旅,要与以色列人打仗。亚吉对大卫说,你当知道,你和跟随你的人都要随我出战。

6. And David assembled all the princes of Israel, the princes of the tribes, and the captains of the companies that ministered to the king by course, and the captains over the thousands, and captains over the hundreds, and the stewards over all the substance and possession of the king, and of his sons, with the officers, and with the mighty men, and with all the valiant men, unto Jerusalem.
大卫招聚以色列各支派的首领和轮班服事王的军长,与千夫长,百夫长,掌管王和王子产业牲畜的,并太监,以及大能的勇士,都到耶路撒冷来。

7. Ahaz was twenty years old when he began to reign, and he reigned sixteen years in Jerusalem: but he did not that which was right in the sight of the LORD, like David his father:
亚哈斯登基的时候年二十岁,在耶路撒冷作王十六年。不像他祖大卫行耶和华眼中看为正的事,

8. Surely there is a vein for the silver, and a place for gold where they fine it.
银子有矿,炼金有方。

9. Unto thee will I cry, O LORD my rock; be not silent to me: lest, if thou be silent to me, I become like them that go down into the pit.
耶和华阿,我要求告你。我的磐石阿,不要向我缄默。倘若你向我闭口,我就如将死的人一样。

10. The wicked flee when no man pursueth: but the righteous are bold as a lion.
恶人虽无人追赶也逃跑,义人却胆壮像狮子。

11. Woe to the crown of pride, to the drunkards of Ephraim, whose glorious beauty is a fading flower, which are on the head of the fat valleys of them that are overcome with wine!
祸哉,以法莲的酒徒,住在肥美谷的山上,他们心里高傲,以所夸的为冠冕,犹如将残之花。

12. And it came to pass the same year, in the beginning of the reign of Zedekiah king of Judah, in the fourth year, and in the fifth month, that Hananiah the son of Azur the prophet, which was of Gibeon, spake unto me in the house of the LORD, in the presence of the priests and of all the people, saying,
当年,就是犹大王西底家登基第四年五月,基遍人押朔的儿子,先知哈拿尼雅,在耶和华的殿中当着祭司和众民对我说,

13. The word of the LORD came again unto me, saying,
耶和华的话又临到我说,

14. In the end of the sabbath, as it began to dawn toward the first day of the week, came Mary Magdalene and the other Mary to see the sepulchre.
安息日将尽,七日的头一日,天快亮的时候,抹大拉的马利亚,和那个马利亚,来看坟墓。

15. And when they were escaped, then they knew that the island was called Melita.
我们既已得救,才知道那岛名叫马耳他。
