1. And she conceived again, and bare a son; and said, Now this time will my husband be joined unto me, because I have born him three sons: therefore was his name called Levi.
她又怀孕生子，起名叫利未（就是联合的意思），说，我给丈夫生了三个儿子，他必与我联合。

2. And if ought of the flesh of the consecrations, or of the bread, remain unto the morning, then thou shalt burn the remainder with fire: it shall not be eaten, because it is holy.
那承接圣职所献的肉或饼，若有一点留到早晨，就要用火烧了，不可吃这物，因为是圣物。

3. And one goat for a sin offering; beside the continual burnt offering, his meat offering, and his drink offering.
又要献一只公山羊为赎罪祭。这是在常献的燔祭和同献的素祭并同献的奠祭以外。

4. But the priests were too few, so that they could not flay all the burnt offerings: wherefore their brethren the Levites did help them, till the work was ended, and until the other priests had sanctified themselves: for the Levites were more upright in heart to sanctify themselves than the priests.
但祭司太少，不能剥尽燔祭牲的皮，所以他们的弟兄利未人帮助他们，直等燔祭的事完了，又等别的祭司自洁了。因为利未人诚心自洁，胜过祭司。
